There is this kid in my class who had a very embarrasing moment today.
In music, the teacher was asking if we wanted to play guitar for the lesson, everyone put their hand up except for one kid. The teacher asked why not to him, and unfortunately for him he worded what he was saying very badly: Teacher: Why don't you want to play guitar kid: nah, i prefer to play flute, i prefer to blow. After saying those last few words, his face went into a state a shock and embarrasment:shock:  . I felt sorry for him because he's nice and one of my friends, but couldn't stop laughing

Melbourne is the city with the SECOND most Greeks in the world, witht the only city with more being the Greek capital, Athens. There are at least 2 Greeks in every class at my school, so it's no surprise, but it's still pretty amazing, especially considering Greece's population is quite low, 15million. I used to think Greece was a heavily populated country and well known country

Question: I'm going to my friend's birthday tomorrow. I'm not sure what to write on her card. Should I write 'from' or 'love from'? She's been a great friend to me this year, but recently she's shied away from me, starting on the China trip. This is probably because I have liked her twice before, including once this year. I still think highly of her, but I don't know what to write, as I'm thinking that if i write love she might get the wrong idea.

Do 'love from' in a joking way if you want to avoid the actual thing, or just think of something witty
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.
