In fairness to the thread, the Jerks article said "nearly 8000 members" - don't think we're at 8000 yet

It would be good to see how each club is going compared to last season. It hasn't been shown for a while.

Looking good so far this year, tbf the wanderers did contribute about half of the gains but still most teams are up on last year.
Hasn't been too long, i posted this on the 19th. I do another one in a few days but keep in mind last year the updates we a-lot more infrequent so some of these won't have changed at all. Next season i suspect will be a-lot more frequent but I'm just working with what i've got :d

Some of those numbers are astonishing...I can't believe we will have a thirty six percent increase in attendance though....

Melbourne Heart have had Harry Kewell (perhaps other players too) on the phones encouraging past members to resign which I believe is the driving force behind our recent spike (albeit small, but bigger than usual) in membership sales...I think we've had some 60 sign up since this morning.
NB: Usually it has been around 15-25 per day

Edited by deluka: 27/8/2013 06:25:57 PM Which is great to see. Hopefully more clubs try this as it connects the players to the fans. Such a call can really make a young person, in particular, connect to the club, which helps drives lifetime support.

MH have seen a considerable uptick in its membership rate in the last few days.
Overall, some good numbers being seen. SFC must feel a little behind its newer brother (WSW) though

People don't need to become members of SFC to see all the matches, for a lot of people it just doesn't make sense. I got plenty of mates that love SFC but don't want/need a membership to be committed supporters.

One day you will see all your mates buy memberships.
