All players must be nominated by the 11th, Sunday. You can't sneak anyone in a few minutes before the deadline.

That's a bit stupid. What happens if someone holds with their last bid the only player on list within their price range when just seconds before the 11th some bastard swoops in and bids just beyond what their remaining budget can handle? Surely they should have the option of bidding on a new player.

What happens if, for example, I have 2 player signed, and bids on 2 more, then on the 12th someone outbids me on one of my players? I can't add another to the list because he won't be clear in time...

I suggest that come 11th the 5 day waiting period should cease to be an issue.

Well I am guessing some of you are waiting to see if there are any new transfers so why don't we just say after tomorrow or friday no newly transferred players (including players that go on loan from say a top 4 side to a lower side) can be bid on to remove this incentive and these last 6 players can be nominated

I thought it was more that people wanted everyone else to spend all their money, and then get the "hidden" players for cheap

I'd rather we just got rid of the 5 day wait until players get sold. It has served its purpose everyone had a chance at the initial outlay of players. Lets speed up the selling process so there is more incentive to spend your money now.

I am not even in the auction any more so it doesn't worry me just make sure it is not a problem with how Imno is doing it as he is the only one really doing any work.

I pointed this problem out to imno prior to the start of the auction and I thought that there's no way this hasn't been reconsidered because it's clearly flawed. Apparently not.

Fair enough, didn't really see that tbh. It was initially put forward to stop people bidding at, say, 6pm on the 17th and having the player come off the list in an hour.

Continue on as usual, we will see where we're placed on Sunday (we may just go with 3/2/1 days + 12 hours as Jlm suggested). Its a but pointless getting rid of the selling timeframe altogether, this is an auction after all.

However in saying all that, there are only 5 or 6 more names that need to appear on the list, so it's not a massive issue to get them in there by Sunday, is it? :-s
