What on earth is up with Sydney's weather?

In places which rain it tends to rain during the evenings - when the air is cooler and it is easier for precipitation, but in Sydney recently it tends to rain when its daylight and stops raining when its dark

Anyone explain this weather phenomenon?

Also its been horribly humid in Sydney, it wouldnt surprise me if Sydney gets a 100 mm day bucketing some time soon

We also sometimes get thunderstorms at 8 am in the morning.

We already got a 100mm bucketing on Monday. I don't want another one. Pretty much went straight through the roof at work. Also I don't want round 1 to be called off this weekend.

Sydney is rather moist today.

Been amazing weather in Queenstown for the week I've been here. Nice and sunny, sure it's cold but it's not wet and windy cold, it's just dry cold which is cool. Out in the sun it's freaking warm. Genuinely haven't felt the cold much. Cool place.

It's not the working in the rain as much as the trench foot...

the bureau only predicted a 30% chance of rain today

Big, big big stormies over Sydney right now. The West is copping it big time. Inner-West, East not so much, but still a fair bit of rumble rumble crash and tumble. Lots of drips and drops across rooftops and crops happening.

Oh this humidity! Will it ever go away?

I had to open my window last night just to get comfortable enough to get some shut eye because it feels like living in an armpit, I was willing to cop a mosquito bite or two

Warm weather is over thank fuck. Autumn,Winter,Spring>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Summer

The warm nights earlier in the week have been quite enjoyable for getting to work. I'm not looking forward to heading to work in the clusterfucking cold and rain.

First day daylight savings ends in Sydney the rain is suddenly sweeping in from the south in Sydney instead of that humid westerly & north westerly stuff associated with Summer

Obviously Zeus was keeping an eye on the clocks.
