This Melbourne weather (Y) haven't seen so many people get up and about like this, can smell BBQs everywhere, heaps of people walking around the suburbs, marby river and the shops, full houses at the footy and Sandown, heaps of people even keen on Sunday night drinks 👌

Too fucking hot

It was 15c less than a week ago and now the temperature has doubled

windy in syds

The problem being is that its blowing hot as a hairdryer

If it keeps up, for a couple more weeks, it will lead to bushfires! and stuff up the air quality :(

Watched the storm hit melbourne , watching it from the 8th floor and watch it hit was glorious, nek minit it was sunny

Well my wife had to pick up the eldest and she had to put all three kids in the car one by one and she got soaked. Makes it worse since it was a very muggy day today and after the storm hit it got muggier and had flash flooding everywhere.

Got up this morning in Melbourne. Raining buckets. Wear jumper, cardigan and shirt.

Warms up in Melbourne. Take cardigan and jumper off.

Storm hits Melbourne. Put jumper and cardigan back on. Avoid lightning.

Weather clears up. Take cardigan and jumper off.

Fly out of Melbourne in the rain.

Fly into Sydney into rain. Keep jumper and cardigan on.

Walk home from bus stop. Stuck in thunderstorm.

FML.

LOL. Sydney just got #rekt by a fucking tornado with windgusts 210+kmh. SES and riot squads are helping out.

Was having a video conference with some people in western sydney while this was going on. Could see it happening out the window which was pretty cool.

Meanwhile it's 41 degrees here in Adelaide and will be above 40 until Sunday ](*,)

Going to Westfield tomorrow to watch a movie, thank fuck they have air conditioning.

The Westfield here had it's fucking roof caved in today son. There was also a tornado. No thunder and lightning complaining from you =;

TBF Brisbane gets thunderstorms worse than the one we had yesterday at least once a week this time a year :)

Earlier this year though we had a massive lightning strike that woke me up at 2am in the morning. The rumbling was went for so long and shook everything, I thought we were having a minor earthquake.

5 more days until winter solstice. At the moment it is sun-up 8:39 am and sun down 2:47 pm today. Usually this is fine but there has been a distinct lack of snow this year so its been very dark for a long time.

Its all an eastern suburbs conspiracy to label stuff like Stormaggeddon, or "you can go home early" whereas they get a storm every second day of the week elsewhere and you get a collective shrug

We had a couple trees come down in the surrounding streets.

Was nothing like Cronulla and South-Eastern Sydney got, but we copped a little bit.

Disappointed I bypassed the storm. Was working around Bondi when it hit Cronulla/Kurnell, left before it got the Bondi. By the time I got back to Cronulla it was calm.
