The Jerks did all the groundwork for Troisi a year ago but it didn't quite get past the last hurdle. So I assume it was an easy decision for him to come over now after being sold on the idea a year ago - it's just that Victory were smart enough to pounce this time

It looks like the wiki had the squad wrong so it wasn't really your mistake. But yeah, I'm not entirely sure on O'Dea's situation for this season and whether Geria and Galloway are still senior-listed youths or proper squad members but i'm fairly sure the situation is that there is one senior spot remaining after the Troisi signing, possibly for one of the triallists like Govas, McGrath or Mahazi

And Troisi was smart enough to choose Ange over GVE.

Well Victory have 100% signed a Attacking Midfielder, Ange said as much this morning on radio, he just didn't give the name, if it is troisi then thats fantastic and MVFC will certainly be very difficult to stop this season.

As I said in the other thread, we can't invite a five year old for a kick with ADP without our cap space being questioned.

MV are well known for doing things within the cap that are creative within the rules.

Really? I'd think that we'd be seeing Troisi, if he comes, playing in more of a central role.

But, I'm still left wondering how he is fitting in the cap...


I've been told Mahazi has been signed. So, I'd say that Troisi loan would fill out the roster.

Slow it down a notch please? Earliest he could come in would be the November friendlies at this rate and even by then, the NT squad should be all but finalised. To even have a HALF SHOT with the NT at this late stage, IF he's at A-L level, he would be not only need to be featuring week in, week out, but also one of the A-L's best players, STARRING, week-in, week-out!

The WC team will not be finalised 7 months out from the world cup. Holger has stated he will use the friendlies just before the WC to figure the final line up out.
