i dont see how what jaza did was wrong
battling misinformation with no-information works on the internet because almost everything on here is bullshit so why not stop it completely and let the authorities sort things our like they're supposed to do
same thing with 442 when they block posts on their articles that have to do with court cases or public disputes
why would you want some prick who wasn't even there spamming the place up with propaganda. if you weren't there then everything is speculative....and if you WERE there then hopefully you do the right thing and are speaking to the authorities

RBBWanderer challenged him with a fake phone number and address  Nah I texted the number. It was him. Dunno about the address though. google earth his address and a biscuit factory in an industrial area comes up

I don't see how that makes the situation worse. This is a criminal matter that is being talked about. Things like that need to be treated with care. More often than not it is better to remain silent rather than to create vicious rumours.

hopefully everyone is alright, and everyone involved is caught though it sounds like everything was on CCTV so there should not be any problems finding everyone

We have laws in Australia about embargoed information during court cases, but there's no court case yet. That's an argument for another day. Anyway, my whole contention was that it was inappropriate when the mod mentioned another unrelated alleged attack, and furthermore claimed that he didn't comment on it, while commenting on it! There was no need to mention that event whatsoever, unless he had an agenda to put blame on Victory fans and insulate the Cove, when it's really all of us together versus people that bring violence into our game.

I'm going to take a guess and say there won't be any mention of the NRL fan that got stabbed last month in the papers tomorrow.

I've changed the topic title, but I think the thread should be deleted entirely. It involves a minor. Could breach privacy or legal acts :S

actually i think thats a valid point, remember when people were making threads about ryall and the minor he was hooking up with, kairs went and deleted all of them and blocked people from posting on their articles related to that incident because the kid was underage paladisious wrote:COYS wrote:i dont see how what jaza did was wrong

Quote:Melbourne Victory fan stabbed in brawl after match A MELBOURNE Victory fan is believed to have been stabbed in a wild brawl after tonight's match against Sydney FC. Police were called to break up the fight outside the Bat & Ball Hotel in Redfern at about 10.15pm, after the home side had completed a 3-2 win over the visitors at Allianz Stadium. A man in his late 20s or early 30s, who is believed to be a Victory fan, was allegedly stabbed in the torso by a Sydney supporter. He was taken to St Vincent's Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. New South Wales Police confirmed that "a number of men became involved in an altercation after leaving a nearby soccer match". Another man was also treated for a wound to his hand. Officers arrested a 16-year-old boy at the scene and took him to Redfern police station for questioning. 11.mvfc.11 wrote:zutto09 wrote:WOW>. interstate newspaper release news faster than local newspaper/. said interstate paper is in bed with the afl, what do you expect. Say what you want about flares and broken chairs, this is unbelievably retarded. This Sydney fan, and even the whole group of them need to be fucked off, forever. It's all retarded at the end of the day. Theres a lack of maturity and respect. The best thing about football in this country is that you can passionately support your club, but then expect that no matter what happens, you can still stand in the same vicinity of some opposition supporters and not have any issue... of late, this appears to have gone well and truly out the window
