Egypt expelled its Jews didn't it?

Also Maldives have much banned any religion besides Islam (the guys who wanted to buy land in Australia when their islands sink)

This is fantastic news.

For those that think terrorists will target Angola now are kidding themselves. Angola is too unknown worldwide for terrorists to target them. That's my guess anyway. Attacking high-profile targets like the USA and Britain makes for better advertizing.

Probably lots, but in modern times I'd think you'd find the entire list of current countries being East of Turkey and West of India.

China has banned a number of religions and heavily regulates others. France banned Scientology.

Well, its proven to a false article. As I was suspecting. No big media outlet reporting such a big issue and surely a UN member nation would not be allowed to get away with something like this.

Islam actually does afford each and every person their own religious freedoms. Don't judge a 'supposed' Islamic country as the base for Islamic teaching.

Like me judging the Catholic church as some sort of sex cult in which initiation is done through molestation of a young boy.

It seems like every time something bad happens in the Islamic world, you defend the faith by saying "that's not true Islam".

So we have a broad view of what Islam is not, but haven't seen much of what it is.

Its extremely sad to be honest with you. Islam used to be such that you could look at a Muslims actions and people would know Islam, now we have to defend so many things and say that that is not Islam.

I can only really say that the best way to know the truth, is to educate yourself. I have always said im here for discussion. It is hard to just go out and read a book or website because I know that with all religions that there are so many false things out there, you have to try and find the truth from false.

And lets not forget the infidels

The Catholic church goes so out of its way to hide and defend their pedo priests that its easy to believe it was started by a group of pedo guys as a way to get to young boys.

Anyone who kills using the name of Allah and Islam other than to protect their religion when it is being attacked (such as during the time of the Prophet PBUH when they went to battle) is not a muslim.

I'm sure there are passages in the Quran that explicitly tell followers to kill non-believers and people who insult the prophet.

So not contradicting the book is considered to be true Islam?

Maybe Angola looked at what is happening in England and went "f*ck, that's not happening here!"

Religious freedom should be universal and not state controlled. All this will do is fire up the crazies and compound the problem.

I agree that that is the same. I don't condone anything that happens in these Muslims countries. I don't think there is any Islamic country in the world that can consider itself to be truly Islamic or following what Islam teaches.

The UN is actually a pathetic organisation that doesn't really do much, so its sad when people like Bashar Assad can get away with what they do and the UN does eff all.

Great but that's not exactly how they think.
The Muslim extremists in Angola are obviously going to be alot more concerned with their own country Angola who just banned their religion than the USA or Britain right now.

It's something that is said far too often though. It seems as if the religion will quickly isolate adherants as soon as they bring the religion into disrepute (not just Islam).

What annoys me is how irresponsible all religions are for the actions of their followers. Sure it's hard to police but there are far too many hate preachers out there who need to be controlled by the moderates of the religion because they're untouchable by law.
