This is only testament to my general ability to ignore and disregard just about everything afromanGT posts.

I don't mind the taste. Forgive me for not doing a wiki search on bulmers before hand. Afro what does the barman recommend?

It's like fizzy applejuice and goes down a treat over summer. they aren't too rough on the hangover either. If you're after something dry get onto the Montieths and Rochdale ciders. New Zealand ciders are superb at the moment.

I just ordered a crate. Can't wait to see how it stacks up to other dry, tart ciders. Cheers, my sister in law who doesn't like overly sweet ciders isn't so keen on mine as it's to dry/tart for her so i think you should like it. Have you had Dr Pilkingtons cider? Another local one from SA is Sitting Ducks cider, http://www.sittingduckscider.com.au/ it's fairly dry and tart as well.

Most of the "big" brands are made from reconstituted apple concentrate, usually imported from china. Plenty of small cider companies popping up around the country now making proper cider that are worth trying. Are there some more obscure bottle shops stocking your brand or is it only available through this? This first batch is being offered through the pozible campaign but the plan is to get it into some bottle shops and sell it online. When the pozible offer is finished we will see how many cartons we have left and start offering samples to bottle shops to get it out there. The second batch is getting prepped and hopefully will be done sometime next month.

I'll have to check them out. I drink cider as a beer replacement because of gluten sensitivity issues.
I'm trying to remember what's on tap at The Abbottsford Convent, it's probably the most tart cider i've had before.
I've tried a lot of smaller ones that I never remember the name of.

I spent too many years drinking hard liquor, all cider is sweet, too sweet. Even the dry and tangy are sweet. I've tried about 15 different brand and I get the same result. too Sweet.

Old Mout is very hit and miss for me. Some of their varieties are awesome and some are rubbish. But they have a high alcohol content which is a win.

I used to love cider, but I just can't drink anymore than 1 at a time.

Anyone tried Saxton apple cider? Bought a 4 pack the other week because I hadn't tried it before.

Just to let ya know, all the pozible orders have been sent so expect them in the letter box in the coming days. Also we have setup an online shop at http://the-b-cider-co.myshopify.com/if anyone wants to buy some. Cheers... Nathan.
