That was fantastic. Sure I was one of many hoping South Hobart would get up so that we could get those boys streaming coverage again.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Predicting a few hundred for the NPL teams. If we get a home game Perth should move to Lark Hill or whatever other venue that has the requirements.

Fair enough that the venue doesn't want their track ruined. Very familliar to another venue...

What more do you f'n need  Yes exactly, great entertainment had by all. We got the unlimited Munster's references and names The Vortex Slice of Cheese for yellow cards, Slice of Tomato for red cards, making a hearty cheese and tomato toastie I swear SBS should look no further for their new A-League entertainment show for the upcoming season.

Adelaide v Wellington
Crowd 2804
Nix dominating up until the goal by cirio on the 31st minute then Adelaide took control.
Good win for United and good run for the young players.
For nix glad to see Fenton back had a good tussle with mabil all night.
Looking forward to a weeks time with Adelaide city v wsw at the same venue.

Must say, I'm a tad disappointed that South Hobart didn't win. Whilst I unfortunately didn't catch the game, nor the superb commentary (from all remarks), I would have thought they'd have the mustard to win. They'll have another crack next season you'd think. Don't think they've too much competition down there.

Don't think they've too much competition down there. They were overwhelming favs to win the match, I saw 365 had Tuggers at 40 to 1. I think the better skilled team was Hobart as demonstrated in the first half but tuggers always looked good on the attack and counter. Plus Hobart were poor at dead ball situations including the long throw by Sean Kiddey which was very Rory Delap style. Tuggers did get on top of Hobart in the second half and created a lot of chances, well both teams created a lot of chances. Some magical saves, terrible ball control and passes all thrown into a high tempo match. Hobart will be disappointed they are not progressing but at the same time Tuggers would have felt the same way after that match. It came down to Hobart's keeper not being very good compared to Tuggers in that penalty shootout. I think he went the wrong way every single time and the only reason it went to sudden death penalties was the fact the Tuggers player blasted his shot into the cross bar. Anyway I am pretty chuffed that the Canberra team has made it to the final 16 and are likely to play an A-League team :) It is strange supporting Tuggers, I normally deeply dislike the club as they along with Woden have always been one of my clubs main rivals. Edited by 19-su-58: 6/8/2014 08:31:21 AM I thought I read they would have the goals at least, but haven't seen much yet. They did show the goals from the Newcastle vs Perth game on Fox Sports News this morning though.

It was priceless entertainment with those commentators , the fatso goal keeper, the other keeper taking elaborate risks almost being robbed a few times then pulling off incredible saves, the Munster and grandad coming on for Tuggerong. The standard was embarassing but added to the entertainment value. The long throws were interesting because I don;t think I have seen someone who got so much height on their long throws before. Normally you would think with so much loft the keeper would get to them, but when you have a middle aged fat man as the keeper they aren't going to come out to get them and in the penalty shoot out the last penalty the fat man did go the right way but could not dive properly to get to the ball.
