I don't know if i'm more excited about the game or multiple threads that are going to be started in here when a flare comes out.

It's hard to eat popcorn and go through multiple threads about the same topic. I'm expecting Heineken to start us off with a few pictures but there will be a cagey opening with some of the regular posters putting up "here we go  " posts. The the two marquees will enter as TheSelectFew and PaulC go head to head for 5 pages before both being sent off. With the main players out for each team the thread will lose direction and will finish up with some SFC vs WSW banter and some references to the NSL and the NCIP. But hey, this is cup football after all and there just might be a cupset and no flares will go off no one will mention the word ethnic or franchise for the day.

Edensor is plenty big enough at a capacity of 12k. It won't be moved. We'll see. Problem for the FFA is there's no real reason to move it. Doesn't need to be real  Don't get me wrong, it's better if they leave it at Edensor but if they can see the potential for more than 12K through the gate they may try and move it. If they do move it, it'll be for one of two reasons. 1) Capacity. Wiki & Aus Stadiums both have Edensor Park's capacity at 12,000. ~8,000 of that is 'seated'. This could very well go close to selling out. When was the last time Edensor Park sold out? (According to AusStadiums, the highest crowd there is just over 4k vs Marconi back in 2003 :-k ) Surely not since the end of the NSL. Now I can't remember it it's Edensor Park or Bonnyrigg's home stadium that has part of the ground closed off because it's fallen into disrepair. I think it's Bonnyriggs, SydCro or one of the Sydney United boys could clear that up? That's the highest crowd since 2003. Ground record is much more than that. And that's Marconi you're thinking off with one whole sideline closed off and condemned. Bonnyrigg in 05 was more than that. even the syd fc and jets friendlies. our highest crowd was 11k against Sydney Olympic in the late 90's capacity is 12k, one section of the stadium will be closed off, which would hold 1k-1.5k. the cove, my guess would be behind the goals on the hill, depending on how many numbers they are expecting to travel. I remember the semi against South Melbourne in 99 was around 11k as well. Miss those terraces :( They could fill the ground twice for this match, hell this game would sell out Parramatta Stadium. How are the gate takings allocated? With HAL sides deliberately playing away it would make sense for the smaller sides to keep the lot.
