Please enlighten me on the why? Bagz has been absolutely on the bellends of the Sharkies since the comp started. Whilst it was a fine effort by them to get this far, Matt Sim just gave us all a fourceful reminded of the strength of the QNPL.

That Hungarian guy looked so unfit he will need to be rested till the next FFA cup match to recover, and neither was he any good. Kalic for his age looked promising, would have liked to see more. I was wondering what sort of player would be loaned out from the Hungarian league and now we have found out.

Fun second half. MOTM: Matt Sim and those lads telling Palmer to fuck off
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

And with that devastating loss see's the last remaining Queensland team bow out of the competition. Thank to his 4 goals in 20 minutes, Matthew Sim now leads the Golden Boot chart with 5 goals in 3 games.

I thought palm beach started to learn from their mistakes in the second half and mimick central coasts skill. Which is why we have a cup and shows the gap that hasn't been filled since the A-League has been founded. Academies now!!!

Helloworld1992 wrote:Sim knows how to take adv. of state-league defending. Can't see him replicating this form in the A-league. I think it's more along the lines of Sim knows how to take advantage of some horrendous goalkeeping. Those two tap ins he scored when the goalkeeper failed to catch the ball should never have happened. I can only hope for Palm Beach's sake that he wasn't there #1 goalkeeper. They were two efforts at the very least that should have been held. At the very worst palmed away to either side. Dropping the ball at an attackers feet like that is unacceptable at any level, be it A-League, NPL, or Sunday pub-league. So despite having the majority of the possession, and Palm Beach probably looking worse than they really are given they're out of season, I think the scoreline flattered the Mariners a little bit. That said, they're the first team through to the semi's.
