Perth SC to be forced by the FFA to change their logo? Or does that only apply to clubs from a Croatian background.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Perth Soccer Club already dropped the Italia . Why would they need to change? Edited by scott21: 21/6/2015 06:30:08 PM

I'm not seriously suggesting they should, no club should be forced to change anything, but it just proves how beyond fucked the FFA are when it comes to the NCIP.

Tbh I'm surprised they even let them compete in the FFA Cup under that name (stupid rules or not).

As each season goes by, the more angered i get at the disproportionate amount of shit that non-anglo/celtic clubs have had to cop from Football Authorities in this country. The FFA officially applauds the efforts of clubs like Celtic FC and Shamrock Rovers in the FFA Cup, clubs set up by the Irish diaspora and using symbols of their culture. On the other hand they go out of their way to attack clubs from non anglo/celtic clubs and attempt to force them to drop their traditional names and symbols, even having the gall to demand this midway through the season. Ever since that arsehole David Hill went on his ethnic cleansing crusade in the 90's, we've lost important aspects of this countries footballing cultures and even entire clubs in an attempt to homogenise everyone into a Anglo friendly fantasyland. The particular focus on forcing clubs to use English naming convention is utterly pathetic. At the other end of the scale, the lack of punishment to jew clubs that blatantly display ethnic links like Hakoah Easy Sydney is equally appalling.

OP Updated once more. Congratulations to Broadmeadow Magic from the NNSW NPL who have qualified for the second consecutive time to the FFA Cup with a thumping win in their final qualifying match. Congratulations to Edgeworth Eagles who make their debut in the FFA Cup. Looking forward to what they bring in the competition. Condolences to Gwelup Croatia who came (from all reports) nail-bitingly close to giving the FFA a headache in the Ro32 with their effnicised name. Hopefully they can bounce back next season. I believe they would have been the lowest ranked qualifier if they had won. So with those 3 teams now qualified, NSW, NNSW, ACT, Tasmania, and Western Australia have filled their qualification spots. I believe we're now waiting upon: 1 x Queensland = Palm Beach FC vs Noosa Lions 1 x Northern Territory = Darwin Olympic vs Alice Springs Celtic 1 x South Australia = Adelaide City vs Croydon Kings 2 x Victorian = Hume City vs Kingston City : Heidelberg United vs Golburn Valley Suns These are being played this week?

Not sure what all the fuss about Hakoah is. Not a fan at all of that organisation, but there is not much difference between calling a club "Hakoah" than there is calling it "Olympic".

The issue with Hakoah is that they were allowed to change their logo and include the star of david in it, even though the NCIP explicitly states they shouldn't be allowed to do that.
