I'll hold you to that! At worst, there's that Souvlaki Bar on the corner of Bay Street and The Grand Parade in Brighton which I hear is good.

And people called Gombau a fraud. I guess some people just aren't cut out for coaching. I'm guessing John Aloisi is one of those people. I can't believe that after less than 24 months of coaching a team to being known as the most boring to watch and a failure all round, that he would magically have the skills to coach a winning team. But at least he has recruited his brother and mate to help him out... Aloisi to be the first to be shown the door this season, once the new owners come in. I think it's very brave to give him the coaching reins at Brisbane when he still hasn't cut his teeth as a coach. Someone like him needs a few years in the NPL.

Sydney teams appear stronger imo. Oakleigh were awful in the first half tonight. Just constantly tried to drop a high ball over for Rooney to run onto despite him giving up half a foot in height and a yard on pace to both their central defenders. Some of the dumbest tactics I've seen in a while. Were a bit better in the second when they played in danning and pavlovic more, but Rooney was an utter passenger for the entire game.

Anyone know when the FFA on demand uploads the plays? Or can anyone link any highlights? I missed out after second half.

Did Bosnjak start as a sub for them again? Such a quality player can't believe the kid barely gets a game these days.

Pretty sure there are full match replays on the Fox Sports website, around 24 hours after the match has finished. Check at lunchtime tomorrow. At worst, The A-League Boy on youtube has been putting up a few full match highlights, and has been uploading the goals from every matchday thus far.

Did his ACL in his first pre-season hit out for us. Spent a year recovering, comes back, and in his comeback game, does his other ACL. Probably can't get more unlucky than that.

The odds are shortening after that performance. It had an eery Melbourne Heart feel about it.A striker without a serious shot on goal.Missed chances and periods under the pump.A far cry from the once mighty Roarcelona. It is still early days. But it's the same for all teams. For a team which is virtually the same as last year and the year before,I don't see any progress.

Those are the 2 things I thought about last night, Didn't want to say it at first I thought it may come off as an angry Heart/City supporter wanting to sink the boot in. But correct I was watching them thinking my god this is like watching Heart back in the day. Couple of chances but did not convert striker no influence. WSW get the lead and hold out and not look like loosing. I hope I am wrong and I wish John and his brother the best. but at this rate it feels like nothing has changed. Expect for the fact he wasn't in his slick looking suit and cardigan.
