This has absolutely NOTHING to do with West Sydney Wanderers.
Because some idiots (unemployed teenagers?) decide to allegedly gang up together and physically attack some Sydney FC supporters in a place where West Sydney Wanderers were not playing and on a day where West Sydney Wanderers were not playing is NOT the responsibility of West Sydney Wanderers , irrespective of whether these alleged criminals have or have not bought West Sydney Wanderers memberships.
If the FFA tried to deduct points from Melbourne Victory over something similar it would not have a leg to stand on should legal action be taken imo.

So how do you propose the club police this sort of thing? Have a neighbourhood watch in place and everyone has to check in every hour to an automated telephone system? How the fark can anyone suggest the club has to do something about an incident like this when a. WSW were playing in another state b. it was in the vicinity of an HAL game between 2 other teams c. there is no evidence the attackers are fans of ANY HAL team The club can only police its fans at home games and (possibly) away games. Anything that happens in the days and hours between games is not the club's problem, or more accurately, they can't do anything about it. Erebus, I think you and the other lads in the RBB are top blokes (for the most part) so please don't think I'm taking a shot at you. Firstly, I said 'if it is true'. That is assuming evidence comes to light proving the guilt of whichever twats were involved. However I have to disagree with you. If something goes on in the hours surrounding a game and it is linked to fans of the club, they can do something about it. Refusal to renew membership would be a good start. Even if they don't have the right to enforce a ban they are well within their rights to cancel a membership and refund the $$ pro-rata. Again this is assuming that these fuckwits can be identified. Go and take a look at how some clubs in Europe control and transport their fans at away games. Some quite interesting and successful tactics. Of course this wouldn't be required if we didn't have these tosspots in the first place tfozz wrote: WSW fans seem too busy deflecting blame and supporters from other clubs seem only willing to put the boot in. Well that explains what the Duke of Kent was that Horda members was saying it was great fun on ultras tifo.. The same Horda people seem to have been involved in that attack that were involved in the attack on the WSW pub, and were involved in starting the brawl leading to the stabbing. Maybe they have police protection because remember that ridiculous kidnapping allegation that was launched by I assume one of their members after Horda stole Yarraside banner. The bizzare thing is this code of honour business and the instant they were in some sort of imagined trouble they called the police like they had them on speed dial. I would not be suprised if someone from Horda was related to a police officer.

I couldn't remember who threw a keyboard at which keyboard warrior. Makes more sense that the MV fans threw a keyboard at SFC fans ;) Regardless, my point still stands. To say that WSW fans = most violent is bs because over the first 9 years of the HAL we've seen similar bs occur with other fans. The difference is perhaps that social media is now much more prevalent compared to before? So any little thing gets reported now compared to previous seasons?

SFC fans threw a bottle through the window of a tram full of Melbourne scarfers.

AMOK delinquents bash SFC fan, therefore ultras conspiracy, therefore tacit police involvement, therefore proof of Demetriou's plot to destroy football. Conclusion? Elvis lives, 9/11 was staged, MI6 killed Diana, the moon landing was a hoax, and the Jews control all of the world's financial institutions.

You do realise that kidnapping incident was no mere 'allegation'. The police discovered the intending assailants sitting in the station car park with the paraphernalia. The MV fan in question had no idea about it until it was in the news and the police got in contact. So, please, stick to discussing things you know - which, most likely, is nothing.

You have got to be pretty thick to believe any of that. Probably the cover story by your wannabee hool friends trying to avoid revealing they called the police in order to impress you. Unless the police are psychic how are they supposed to tell who was going to be kidnapped . If I was a WSW fan I would be pointing out there is no proof and that it was all for consenting sex between adults not for a kidnapping.

Seriously, fuck off mate. It's clear to everyone you're a clueless idiot.

I'll put this very simply so everyone can understand it.
Suppose 4 or 5 friends joined a football club. Midweek they went to the casino wearing their club outfits. They got into an argument about football with a supporter of another club. So they ganged up on this person, punched and kicked him and he later died from this mugging.
To use some convoluted logic to suggest the football club should at a minimum lose premiership points because it is somehow responsible for the criminal conduct of these thugs is contemptible. The attempt to deduct premiership points from the club would be laughed out of court, if challenged by the football club in a Court of Law.

If points get deducted then WSW may as well just focus on the top 6 to win the grand final, the ACL and the FFA cup when that arrives. The A League has been tarnished.

Is there really any point in suggesting ridiculous hypotheticals that would obviously not result in the docking of points if it had nothing to do with a game of football, and comparing it to a situation where WSW fans chased people down a street and attacked them with poles as they were waiting to attend a game at which they subsequently let off a number of explosives and pyrotechnics?
