Diaby really is a superb player. Just a great midfielder. Very quick off the mark, covers the ground well, decent passing range, very physically strong... Sydcro, is his best position DM, CM or AM?

Only the one glaring mistake from Lehmann, but apart from that has looked very solid when called upon.

He's probably best as a CM in a box to box type of role. His goal showed all that is good about him. When he's onsong like today he's absolutely brilliant. only problem is there is no middle ground, he's either brilliant or just poor. His close control sometimes is just ridiculously good.

Yeah, it seems most of our midfielders play best in a midfield 3. Diaby's been very unlucky with injuries this season, actually he's been very unlucky his whole career with injuries. Thankfully he has more of those great performances and not the shit ones.

true... but when hes playing with cesc and jack he probly needs to play dm... where he provides a few heart in mouth moments... when he lingers on ball and choses to pass rather than clear

When he plays with jack I think they are best when they alternate who sits back more and who pushes forward. He's probably most comfortable with Song where he doesn't need to focus on defending as much as he would with Jack.
