There is no way he could control the twitter account of a blogging site he may run (unconfirmed).
It is now #TWITTER_OFFICIAL  Your conspiracy theory is obviously more plausible.

It is now #TWITTER_OFFICIAL  Your conspiracy theory is obviously more plausible. Well obviously Im having a good laugh here. But really Rice Crackers was accused of being Andrew K. very soon after a new Account appears claiming to be Andrew K. The not unreasonable question of "did Ricey create the Poptech account to prove he is not that person" was asked. So taking that accusation as plausible (which it is) Ricecrackers asked poptech to tweet to prove he is different. From this view, Ricey has asked himself to tweet from one of his multi accounts that he is not lying? You do see how this is looking?

this is the only account I've ever had on this forum what proof do you have otherwise?
my name is not Andrew. do you really think I'd draw attention to myself by posting my own blog considering all the personal threats that have been leveled at me here?

From a few pages back... Draupnir wrote:The second article on the front page of this bastion of scientific genius is entitled GoPro Epic Videos and was posted 6 months ago. Why would a popular technology website not write about popular technology? Draupnir wrote:And if that wasn't enough, the latest post IS ABSOLUTELY NOT, IN ANY WAY revisionist history with the title of Correcting History: Dyson and Einstein. Strawman argument, no claim was made that it was "revisionist" history. Draupnir wrote:...just head on over the the forums where the guy that writes the high quality articles for the website has defined his role as "Chief of Staff" Just like you have defined yourself as a "Legend" here? Draupnir wrote:...and posts topics ranging from Obama plan's to cut back pilot firearm training , Tamerlan Tsarnaev got Mass. welfare benefits Those were actual news stories. Did you just read the forum topic title and fail to actually check? How embarrassing. Obama administration's plan to cut back pilot firearm training raises security concerns ( Fox News, March 23, 2012) Tamerlan Tsarnaev got Mass. welfare benefits ( Boston Herald, April 24, 2013) Draupnir wrote:...and posts insightful comments such as What? All I hear is Bush Lied Saddam did not have any WMDs. BULLSHIT! He flat out did. They said Saddam had gotten rid of all of them. Yeah he dispersed them around the country and mixed them in with other munitions. This has been confirmed by multiple sources: National Ground Intelligence Center Report: Iraqi Chemical Munitions (PDF) ( NGIC, June 21, 2006) Quote:- Since 2003 Coalition forces have recovered approximately 500 weapons munitions which contain degraded mustard or sarin nerve agent.
- Despite many efforts to locate and destroy Iraq’s pre-Gulf War chemical munitions, filled and unfilled pre-Gulf War chemical munitions are assessed to still exist.
- Pre-Gulf War Iraqi chemical weapons could be sold on the black market. Use of these weapons by terrorists or insurgent groups would have implications for Coalition forces in Iraq. The possibility of use outside Iraq cannot be ruled out.
- The most likely munitions remaining are sarin and mustard-filled projectiles.
- The purity of the agent inside the munitions depends on many factors, including the manufacturing process, potential additives, and environmental storage conditions. While agents degrade over time, chemical warfare agents remain hazardous and potentially lethal.
- It has been reported in open press that insurgents and Iraqi groups desire to acquire and use chemical weapons. Report: Hundreds of WMDs Found in Iraq ( Fox News, June 22, 2006) Munitions Found in Iraq Meet WMD Criteria, Official Says ( U.S. Department of Defense, June 29, 2006) The Secret Casualties of Iraq’s Abandoned Chemical Weapons ( New York Times, October 14, 2014) Draupnir wrote:Not to mention you have a high ranking Iraqi Air Force General coming out and saying they air lifted them to Syria on the Iraq war. How ironic, so you confess to not actually watching the admitted socialist comedian you so desperately tried to defend? "WMDs were moved to Syria" - Iraqi General Georges Sada (Video) ( Fox News, January 26, 2006)

I wouldnt get waylaid by unrelated topics such as John Stewart and WMDs. That draupkick is resorting to these is clear deflection from the topic at hand: man made climate change alarmism.

ricecrackers wrote:I wouldnt get waylaid by unrelated topics such as John Stewart and WMDs. Reporting on news stories and having discussions for no reason like that are two different things, which needed to be made clear. The Job Stewart discussion is important since many on the alarmist side get their news from the comedian.

I couldn't possibly answer that question with absolutism because any undetectable or immeasurable minuscule amount would fall into the span of magnitude. My belief is there is no evidence that carbon dioxide emissions from human activity have any significant or observed effect on the climate. Even if it did, it would be no cause for alarmism as a warmer planet results in a more stable climate and greater capacity for life support. Unlike most on this forum who were trained to believe in absolutism on this issue from an early age and have never changed their stance in their life times, I was one who initially believed the hype more than a decade ago as I had no reason not to. I then changed that position as I learned more about it over a number of years. Any real scientist (and I dont claim to be one) would consider the opposing argument to an unproven theory before making a conclusion on it.

Using magnitude was a poor choice of words. It was a suggestion that we may be affecting the climate at a much less significant magnitude than people will have us believe.
