Pretty over rated player , will never be better than aleage level , syd will now make Him over paid to match . Typical syd fc, and predictable if it happens , mcglinchy will be next plus Simon

Why would his Chinese club buy him, only to continually loan him out to A-League clubs? It's not like the standard of the CSL is any better than the A-League...

I'm actually really surprised his Chinese club is letting him go again.
Bernie hates the lifestyle in China (like most Australian players do when they go there) and he has been keen to move on the moment after he got his sign-on bonus :lol:
But his Chinese club have been super reluctant to release him. The reason they did to CCM was because a family member of Bernie's passed away (his Dad iirc?) so he pleaded with the club to let him be closer to home, which they reluctantly did. But apparently when they did, they made it clear that they really wanted him back as soon as the loan was over.
So to hear that they're willing to re-loan him, says to me either they have lost interest in him or Bernie is quite a persuading kind of guy when it comes to talking himself out of things.
