So we've hit growth levels of greater than 10% which is great to see. A very sustainable rate. If we can grow again next year at around 10% we'll almost average 12k members per club.

Not expecting any more major movements this season. We should hit 107k but doubt we'll go much further considering the season is well under way and other than Newcastle, not many others will be buying full season memberships having already played 2 home games.

True, but same time, I wouldn't mind even seeing a slight plateauing for a couple years and I think we've seen some indicators already of that, with some of the smaller clubs who made their own big gains, a season or two ago. Victory and WSW have hit their level too, especially with scarcity factoring in. Victory have sat around 18/19k members in their meeker years, so 19k-23k seems their level and WSW will surely stabilize around 20k, even with recent success and stadium expansion.

The keys are the big growth markets and when they'll hit their level. Roar and SFC were tracking to grow like this since early last season. Many Roar fans expect a meeker period on the field as this team adjusts and the great growth is an after-affect of their highly successful last season. So if anything, we may see a slight ebbing off, though hopefully not and hopefully Mulvey's team turns it around - especially with they participating in the ACL next year. Melbourne City we can't predict, but the longer the project runs and the more we see the reality vis a vis the hype, we will see what can be sustained, on and off the field. Hopefully/surely there isn't a bubble effect and so their 10k member level can be sustained, no matter what happens (The pre-season period/hype with Villa/Lampard-hype may never be exceeded)!

Adelaide are perhaps the only market trending, on and off the field, to the degree that great additional gains could be predicted for next season too? I think many of us suspect they'll be challenging end of season and that will feed into even great enthusiasm in Season 2015/16, depending on how far into the 2015 A-League Finals they push and Gombau's reign/project continuing at a pace.

City replaced Newcastle. We had the same figure last season too.

6 should be the goal next season and hopefully the addition of two more clubs can continue this tradition.

I think the goal should be to have adelaide, perth and newcastle over 10k for future seasons. If adelaide go well this year i can't see why they can't crack 10. If this was achieved every team in a capital city would have over 10 k which would be cool.

There should be a system where clubs basically set up stalls in the shopping centres, telephone previous members, advertise on billboards and on TV.

Surely that will start an avalanche.

Not true. We had 4 clubs hit 10k+ last year.

You're forgetting about Brisbane who only got around 8k.

Yeah i can see adelaide hitting 10k if they do well this year. And Newcastle could make it again too if they reach finals.

Honestly reckon we could have 7 clubs at 10k plus next year, with Perth being the only major city that will struggle unless they miraculously win this year. Then there would be a surge.

Phoenix? Will be lucky to even hit 5k..

With the new stadium cap to rise by 4-5k I would assume that there will be another 2-3k members next year so another 10-15% rise.
