Just won the Championship with Wigan on world Class. :d (Did sim the last 5 or so games though)

Happy with how the team is shaping up, trying to sign Nastasic at the moment but I need to sell a few guys first. On the look out for a new CAM as well.




Had issues with getting Campbell in the end somehow the game let me sign him on a free. :? (After not letting me buy him for two mill). :lol:

Yes.

Alright just finished my second season, first in the Prem. Managed to finish 2nd, Chelsea ran away with the league.

Not sure if I should up the difficulty to Legendary. :-k

It was a tough season with 2 of my 3 strikers out with longterm injuries. Sold both of my GK's as well.

Happy with how team is progressing, although some players don't seem to be progressing.

Will try and get Van Ginkel on loan again, will look to buy another Striker, CAM & some GKs for next season.

Ive found that.It took a month of transfer period to get to a friendly. It would be good if you could book friendlies/practice matches to fiddle with your team. I had no idea what I was doing so I spent my entire transfer budget on a youth scout before i realised that was probably not the best.

Started with York City in the english League 2.

11 games in we've just had our first loss for the season with only 2 goals conceded so far. Im playing on semi-pro because ive never really played fifa before. Im a pes guy normally.

Im going to try to recruit aussies - cisak is my goalie. im looking at spiro and good for now, and de silva. i need to finish the season and make some money first.

in career mode is there anything like the FUT where you can see how well players get along with each other? you know, the grid thingy for the squad with realtionship strengths or something.

You mean chemistry? As you don't have to worry about that in CM.

Going back to FIFA 13 here. Played as AFC Wimbledon and had a gun forward named Jack Midson. Sadly not in FIFA 15 as he has moved to Eastleigh. The guy with a 62 rating, scored at will and I managed to score 35 goals in a season with the guy. No matter which oposition, he always got something. Other memorable players from that AFC team were Lou Harris, Brendan Kiernan, Pim Balkenstein and Stacy Long.

Currently doing Career with Hannover 96. Quite difficult until I bought Luongo and Good who have some decent energy about them. Wouldn't mind seeing this in real life.

Alright third season done and it was fairly successful. Finished second again this time but behind City.

The Champions League was tough, drew Barca, Inter & Zenit for the group got through in second place fairly easy, drew Bayern in the R16 and won in extra time in the second leg of the tie. Than drew PSG in Quarters but despite creating the better chances was knocked out 1-0 on aggregate, have to say Silva & Luiz were very hard to break down.

I Managed to sign Coutinho for a nice deal at the start of the season and than looked to bring in Gayle as my fourth striker but he performed so well he's now number one. Would than sign Bardi in Jan as I wasn't happy with some of the errors Alnwick was making.

You get a lot of cash for progressing in the champions league so i'll look to probably buy a LB, RB or maybe a world class striker.

In one of my games I found it strange against West Ham I was up 1-0 in the 85th minute but they decided to take it to the corner and time waste. :-k

I'm also not sure why its taking so long for some of my players to progress as well. :-k

Finish 7th in the league with Arsenal but win the Champions League and get sacked. Because realism.

I'm annoyed at how quickly players degrade in 15. It's absolutely ridiculous! Any player over the age of 28 who isn't at your club just starts becoming shit at a ridiculous rate. And young players at your club don't grow properly. It's just really frustrating and has made career mode quite boring.

PSG have built one hell of a team in my CM.

ive taken York City into league one. after winning the F.A. cup and taking first place on the table I figured it's time to move to professional from semi pro.

AI defence is better and they run a bit more straight. Ive just realised that only 1 player in my first 15 is 6 ft. this is now an issue.


My goal is to stock the team with aussies.

I have 2 youth recruits who are going to be huge and already starters (one of them came in at 71 when he was 16). Plus Behich and Burns. they are carving it up. Im going to make a play for sainsbury, brillante and de silva if I have some money by next transfer.

What formation does everyone play? I play 4411 but I'm thinking of changing it.

I was always content with 4-4-2 with two defensive mids, wide men and two forwards. I moved on to a 4-2-3-1 of two 6ers and a second striker. Now I'm using 4-3-3 attack. Two defensive mids,a man in front of them, two wide men and a striker.

I love having Williams as he can play nearly anywhere and is especially a beast in midfield. Galloway goes alright at RB too. Wright, Good, Sainsbury and Spira are on rotation for friendlies and qualifiers. Troisi, Jedinak, Halloran get runs while I prefer Rogic a bit deeper for the little extra height while Oar is very versatile and can take great free kicks. Cahill and Bresc always get in the squad. Mabil, Antonis, Gameiro and Edwards have been included lately also.

Just started as Mansfield. Put them in League One to spare playing a whole season of League Two. Hilarious CPU transfers going on. Broxham to Peterborough and Malik to Notts County. The latter came from the bench only to snap his arm after two mins and had to go off. Broxham made it hard for me to win but I might just bring him over to Mansfield. This is where I discovered young Aussie Callum Elder.

do you know how to delete the team sheets in career?? seems it cant be done.

1st season Sunderland on World Class - very realistic - conceded silly goals, survived relegation on goal difference. Recruiting a few good Bosmans.
2nd season - mid table finish - won lots of penalties - Bryan Ruiz scored 10 in the league, all from the spot.
3rd season - won the league cup (scoring 2 in the last 10 minutes to turn Chelsea over), started playing some really nice football... Started losing games for no apparent reason, relegated.
4th season - 14 points from first 14 games, just outside relegation zone, kept conceding late late goals, sacked... Almost had to replace controller and tv.

Started new game as Sunderland, lost first 5 games... Packed it in.

Dilemma time... Go back down a level and win every game, not enjoy it because I know I'm better than that, or soldier on and risk smashing the tv...

Always used to go 4-2-3-1, but it doesn't seem as effective on FIFA15.
I'm reliably informed that 4-3-3 is the way to go. Trying to perfect my own tactical set up to allow my wingers to always be on call to charge onto flicks from my central striker - used to murder them on previous FIFAs.

For me it depends how you play and what level you are playing on. If you are playing a difficulty which is difficult for you (eg you with Sunderland on World Class) then pack the midfield and make sure you have good forwards. For example I have a Milan Career mode on Legendary so I play the 4-3-3 with 3 central midfielders side by side. This forces them wide and I have pacey full backs so they can nick the ball and give it to my best players, Menez and El Shaarawy. If I am playing on World Class I play a 4-2-3-1 or another variation of the 4-3-3 (e.g. with a CDM or with a CAM). I find formations with one central defensive midfielder to be good also.

What pisses me off the most is that I started bad, got better, recruited 'better' players, and then suddenly turned shit...

that's weird.

i find that if i get to cocky i try and do too much with one guy - hold the ball too long etc. or if ive got someone i think i can rely on then i try too much with them and they get dispossed. this will cause a dip in results.

i play a 433 narrow like ange. but i have to dms sweeping in front of the front 4. i need 3 strikers ready to shoot at any time.

ive used the sliders to make the jump between difficulty levels more manageable. when i start smashing every team i knock the sliders back a bit.

The honest bloke in me stops me from enjoying the game if I've modified it in any way with the sliders - if I score I don't feel it's 'fair' with the sliders in my favour.

Interesting twist... Re-started game in Professional mode rather than world class - Sunderland squad modified to match the end of last season (all last seasons departures but none of this season's arrivals)... Sold anyone who could be sold for a decent fee and replaced all with free transfers on low wages, freed up close to $600,000/week in wages for Bosman deals in January... Won first 4 games even with the sh*t team, got bored...

Re-started game in World Class mode - default Sunderland squad, started the season with a couple of wins in the first few games.
