Seems like a few little positive additions to Career Mode thankfully. :)
Really hoping for a new league or two, would absolutely froth if a lower league like 3. Liga or something was added (although there'd be a few reserve teams so I can see why it wouldn't)

Tbh the changes to CM really aren't that good. Pre-season tournaments - Yea its nice that you can earn a little cash but its hardly groundbreaking. Player training - Sounds cool, I know a lot of people have been hoping for some training for some time. It can be done auto and manual as well however half way through the season I doubt I'll care about it. All of this should''ve been done a long time ago: Quote:Now, when you take the time to scout a player in detail you’ll be rewarded with extra information, like their current transfer value, wages and the unmasking of their overall
You can now sign free agents outside of the transfer window.
Short loans have increased from three to six months and there is now an option to issue two-year loans.
While the transfer window is open, the number of ‘high-profile’ moves by big players has been tuned to better match the number that typically happen in the real-world.
Auto Transfer Budget: If you have enough money to buy a player the budget will automatically adjust instead of having the user go back to the budget screen and adjust the slider manually.
Season Target: There were several complains of people being fired even if they performed well, we did some tuning to ensure this doesn't happen.
I was actually hoping for a greater emphasis on being a manager - actual discussion with squad members, the board and other clubs really hounding you to join them. A Trophy cabinet even some of your own personal objectives or something that you can actually work towards. I was also hoping for more individual and team stats not just across a match or a season but multiple season across every league. It also appear they've once again done nothing to the personal my player mode. All in all the changes they made are fine but its not like they've actually done a lot. :( Edited by Roar_Brisbane: 6/8/2015 08:33:48 PM

12th season now done, superb season at Dortmund. We ended up winning everything Copa Europe, Deutscher Pokal, Bundesliga & Champions League.
I signed one CB this season (was a regen) and for a 85 rated player quite the disappointment.
Pogba appears to be on the decline - still is very composed but his positioning is now all over the place.
However Langerak was the ultimate headache, played all season and let in so many howlers. :x
Dybala is a genuine freak though 46 goals in 37 matches - golden boot in the Bundesliga, Deutscher Pokal and Champions league. (and he missed 16 games across the season).
Immobile ended up with 18 assists across all comps as well.
In the Bundesliga it was really a race betwwen Hannover, Bayern, Freiburg (who fell away towards the end of the season) and ourselves. We ended up getting up by 4 points in the end.
We ended up playing PSG in the ECL final, really straight forward game as Varane got sent off for them in the 28th minute giving up penalty as well, so we went on to win 3-0.
Wigan: Finished 7th.
Fiorentina: 1st place (by 7 points as well) . =d>
Saint-Etienne: Finished 4th (They were 1st for quite a while). Also made the quarters of the Europa. However they sold the great Andy Delort to Celta Vigo.
Oh well, I'm going to hopefully join a Spanish club now as I've accomplished everything in Germany.

Another horror March-April. 2nd place, a point behind Citeh, going into March - then 2 draws and 5 defeats from 7 games, plus knocked out of the FA Cup and the Euro League. Going into the last 4 games only 3 points above 6th. Bad results coincided with both full-backs (rated 81 and 84) picking up long term injuries in the same game - first win after 10 games without coincided with the return of both players!

So I'm imagining that all the same bugs will still be in career mode and manoeuvring screens out of matches will still take time to load.

Hope they improve other teams transfer dealing. I remember in fifa 14 I was in the 2016/17 I think, I played against Chelsea and they basically had the same squad as they did at the start of that save

13th season now done, the grind is real though.
I simmed the first part of the season until a job offer popped up. As I said I wanted to go to Spain and the Real Madrid manager spot opened up so I went there.
However I really hated Spain; every team would sit back and park the bus, they'd time waste and hack the shit out of me whenever I had the ball. Meanwhile my team played like spoilt brats they were just so lazy (in attack and defence). I changed the formation and tactics many times but nothing really changed.
There were some good moments though, for instance in the Spanish Cup Semi against Barca. We lost the first leg 2-0 and than gave up an early goal in the second leg, yet in a 20 minute period we ended up putting on 4 goals and won. (We would then go on and beat Sevilla in the Final.
Real still had a very strong midfield/forwards - Bale, Jovetic, Sterling, Thauvin, JRodriguez, Isco, Kroos, etc. Except they were very light on in defender (only one player in the 80's). It was enjoyable to just throw money around in the Jan transfer window though - in came: Neymar, Stones, Yedlin & a regen CB.
We ended up winning the league fairly easy though Barca were our only competitors and they just kept stuttering all season, so we finished 8 points ahead of them. I though our For (75) and Against (19) was quite impressive though.
Real weren't in the ECL either just the Europa league which was interesting to say the least. However we ended up getting knocked out on away goals to Wolfsburg in the R16. (I have quite the rivalry with them)
One thing for sure I'm getting the hell out of Spain asap.
Wigan watch: Finished 8th, topped their Europa group but got knocked out in the R16 to Juve.
Fiorentina watch: They won their league by 7 points ahead of Juve.
Saint-Etienne watch: They finished third, 11 points off PSG & Lyon but 13 points ahead of 4th place. Knocked out in the semis of the Europa league.
Dortmund watch: Finished 2nd a long way behind Bayern, knocked out in the ECL to Arsenal in the R16.

And can EA bring back having all players' overall visable. I hate scouting and I never sign created players as a result.
Nothing better than searching for a player with a min. overall of 80.

Yeah they've said once you scout a player, unlike FIFA 15, you'll be able to see what their overall is and not just some stats.

In my Milan save, I've got a 15 year old either CDM or a CB with a potential between 86 and 94. Fuckin noice No strikers in my academy though 8-[ a bit of a worry for the future of A.C Milan Still top of the league with 40 points from 14 games (13 wins, 1 draw) with all but one or two of those games being simmed. Inter are trailing with 32.
For the first time, but certainly not the last, I began to believe that Arsenals moods and fortunes somehow reflected my own. - Hornby

Inter are trailing with 32. I never sim. Also spend my entire opening budget on youth scouts then sell players before buying. Only fucker is when the youth players wants out in April right before May 1st.

Alright so the only job openings at the end of the season were Milan, Man City & Wigan. The only one that really interested me was returning home to where it all began at Wigan, thought it would be a nice way to finish off the career mode.
Yet surprisingly they rejected me, so I simmed the third of the season at Real until some there were some actual jobs available. The Wigan job was once again open, so I applied for it and ended up getting it. :d
We were in 8th place 18 points off the lead in the Prem, no European football and were only in the FA Cup.
There was only 7 remaining guys in the squad that were left since I was last at the club. Quite sad but I guess thats still a good number. However they had some really nice regens. (Particularly a top quality Striker, LM/CAM & RM)
It was good being back in the Prem though the game is far more open and enjoyable. We simply couldn't catch Liverpool in first but we were in a great four way battle for second - although we ended up finishing third.
The regen striker also went on to win the golden boot and I finally won the FA Cup. \:d/
Given I'm about to enter my last season I'll be looking to bring in a few older - higher rated players that I can bring in on the cheap and try and do the treble for a fairy-tale finish.
Some sad news though Joel Campbell who is set to retire at the end of this season ended up doing his ACL and missed the majority of the season. Coutinho & Schneiderlin will also retire. :(
Fiorentina watch: Finished 2nd to Inter and were knocked out in the ECL R16 to Atletico.
Saint-Etienne watch: Finished 4th. Knocked out in the R16 to Chelsea in the ECL.
Dortmund watch: Finished 3rd a long way off Bayern. Lost to PSG in the R16 in the ECL as well.
Real watch: won the league very easily but that extra game glitch is still there. Were knocked out to Barca in the quarters of the ECL though. Ouch.

Season 4 - early January, 2nd in the league, top scorers in the country, semi finals of the league cup, through the 3rd round of the FA Cup, 6 wins in 6 in the Euro League... No weaknesses in the squad and only a few fringe players whining about not getting enough football...
Let's see how I manage to cock this up...
