Strikers I've heard we're interested in s far: - Craig Bellamy - Kenwyne Jones - Adriano - Falcao - Fred - Peter Crouch A list which doesn't inspire me with confidence. Then again, neither does our current team.

Then again, neither does our current team. And now Crespo :lol:...from goal.com Reports in the Italian media are tipping Tottenham Hotspur to turn their attention from Adriano to his fellow Inter misfit Hernan Crespo. Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is clearly unhappy with his attacking options. He's brought Jermain Defoe back from Portsmouth, but Roman Pavlyuchenko's long-term future is still uncertain while Darren Bent looks to be heading for the White Hart Lane exit door. Olivier Dacourt is another player Redknapp is interested in, although Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is reportedly attempting to lure Hernan Crespo and Dacourt to the Renato Dall'Ara. Thus, a battle could ensue. 33-year-old Argentine forward Crespo, of course, previously had a stint in the Premier League and London with Chelsea. He was successful initially but gradually become surplus to requirements and spent time on loan with both Milan giants. Still, 'Arry could be set to take a gamble on a player who could surely have an impact until the summer, at which point the gaffer will have a better chance to put his own stamp on what is still a largely inherited squad. Crespo has been practically frozen out of Jose Mourinho's first team plans and would surely relish being given an opportunity to impress at the highest level on a regular basis. He would move on loan initially, before considering his future at the end of the season, at which point he'll be a free agent.

16/01/2009 12:39 goal.com BREAKING NEWS: Jose Mourinho Wants Tottenham's Jermaine Jenas At Inter Inter coach Jose Mourinho has his sights on English midfielder Jermaine Jenas and is targetting a January swoop.
The January transfer market has provided yet another strange twist as Internazionale coach Jose Mourinho has stated that he wants to bring Jermaine Jenas to the San Siro. The Portuguese boss confirmed his interest to Sky Sports.
Tottenham Hotspur want to keep hold of their key players, but Harry Redknapp may be keen to do business if it included a player coming in the other direction.
The English midfielder has been stripped of his duties as vice captain at the lilywhite north London side, and could be used as a makeweight in any deal involving powerful left-footed Brazilian striker Adriano.
Redknapp has done business with Mourinho once in the recent past.
While the cockney FA Cup winning manager was at Portsmouth, he sold Ghana international Sulley Muntari to Mourinho for a reported £12 million.
Jermaine Jenas is a full England international and has been capped 20 times.
hmm..:-k

hmm..:-k :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Feel free to take him [-o< Hey jazz, Steve Bruce has said we've 'virtually signed' Palacios from Wigan for 14mil. Far too expensive in my opinion, but he's a great player and will toughen up our midfield. Any rumours you've heard about a left winger?

Hes "virtually" signed Palacios. On FIFA09 I virtually signed way better players than Palacios. Redknapp thinks he's the shit when he's not.

It'll go to his head. ...wait a second!!! :shock: mk needs a new way to release his pent up sexual tension. Palacios is a decent signing, but they could do better. Dropping the 's' off the end would be a great start.

If by 'interesting' you mean 'fucking horrifying' then I agree with you there. If we win, we go 12th, but if we lose we keep propping up the ladder, against judas's bunch and the team we 'stole' Defoe and Arry from. I'd say our biggest premiership game since West Ham last day of the season two years ago, and I must say I'm shit scared :cry:
In more exciting news Jazz, was up in Newcastle today for the Perth game (2-1 and my mate set up our second :cool:) and my uncle got out all his footballing souvenirs from when he toured Europe with some Northern NSW rep side in 1981-82, and I scored;
A Spurs scarf An FA Cup winners badge A program to a League game against QPR A program to UEFA Cup Semi Final v Hadjuk Split, and A program to the mighty Bill Nicholson's testimonial (\:d/ )
Not a bad haul if I do say so myself :)
