You've got an out of form Arsenal missing players and a spurs team who failed to take full advantage of this. It does.

Spurs were pathetic from team selection to effort to craft, oooh we are scared of relegation lets send a second string side to a better team from the continent, because we are a gutless mash of crap, forget the pride of England ,forget the traditions of trying your best with your best, what a shameful excuse for an English side , redknapp is a cretan if he thought he could beat them with the jokersx and tactics he employed. ASTON VILLa are the only side that can challenge the big four because they have heart, something money cannot buy. FO you spurs horses wouldnt wear you .

Spurs dont have enough players to field a second string side. Though they plead 'second string' when things go wrong.

 They've got enough playerds...just their 'second string' side couldn't beat Bristol Rovers reserves' team.

afromanGT wrote::lol: They've got enough playerds...just their 'second string' side couldn't beat Bristol Rovers reserves' team. I'm fairly certain our under 18's have beaten Bristol Rovers reserves in the recent future, so you'd be wrong there. And no team ever replaces 11 first team players with 11 2nd choicers. Spurs haven't had a definitive 'best XI' this season, so saying what is the best team is debatable. Either way, unlike Blyth MkII said, Shaktar was hardly 'not expected to be a match', especially in sub zero temperatures at home.

I'll assume you mean that Spurs U18's have beaten Bristol Rovers U18's in the recent past, and you'd be wrong. Their U18's did beat Bristol City U18's (5-3 and 3-0), but they're an entirely different team. :-"

At least the first 5 are first teamers.

Arbeloa isn't a first team-er! And neither is Agger this season. And I'd consider Alonso and Gerrard our first choice mids. Not realy surprisingly, Insua has been first choice LB of late. So that crosses four of your 'first team-ers' off the list.

So first you disagree that no team ever plays a completely weakened team and then you cite a game in which Agger, Reina, Mascherano AND Carragher all played? Quote: Come again?? Obviously what I meant you pedant. Point remains you're spouting shit saying our reserves would lose to Bristol's.

In our last 13 games: Starts for Aurelio: 5 Starts for Dossena: 5 Starts for Agger: 5 Starts for Insua: 4
Starts for Arbeloa: 8 Starts for Masch: 9
Aurelio or Dossena.. take your pick. Either way, they both started v Pompey.
Arbeloa has started 30 times this season!! I think that constitutes first team. Same goes for Masch. Hes started 24 times. Agger has started 18 times. Maybe not first team I guess. Arbeloa, Masch, Reina and Carra are all first teamers. 100%.

Quote:So first you disagree that no team ever plays a completely weakened team and then you cite a game in which Agger, Reina, Mascherano AND Carragher all played? lol Arguably the only first choice players in that game are Reina and Carra. Quote:Obviously what I meant you pedant. Point remains you're spouting shit saying our reserves would lose to Bristol's. Well we'll have to wait and see. The last time the two teams played spurs won 9-0, but that was in 1977. Quote:Starts for Insua: 4 That could have something to do wiht Insua playing in the south american u20 championship. Just confidentially ;) Liverpool's XI according to apps this season: Reina (25) Arbeloa (20) Carra (25) Skrtel (12) Aurelio (14) Kuyt (25) Gerrard (22) Alonso (23) Benayoun (21) Torres (14) Babel (18) So that was 4? 'first team' players? That said, that doesn't mean that they're our best players, as you have yourself contended in the past Peligro. Uhhm. I just told you Agger has started 18 times, and Skrtel is in your team with 12 starts?? Even without Agger, we had 4 regular starters against Pompey. Therefore: Quote:I beg to differ. Liverpool v Pompey. = Not true. Edited by imnofreak: 22/2/2009 03:01:04 AM

OK. So for all intents and purposes.
You said Liverpool had a completely second string team playing against Pompey.
Now you say that both Reina and Carragher are first choice players, at the least.
You were wrong. Now stop talking about Liverpool in here.
