You say you have an easier run in but 3 of those 4 teams are fighting for survival. They may seem straight forward on paper but I'd much rather be playing teams like West Brom or Norwich.

I can't see us taking a spot in the 4, we have no confidence and our best players look tied.

I penned some thoughts this week for my EPL blog on Spurs and how the speculation over the England position may have affected Redknapp, for those interested: http://au.fourfourtwo.com/blogs.aspx?CIaBEID=2716

The season Arry took charge comes to mind.

3rd is out of reach imo hopefully we can pull something special of and newcastle slip up once or twice. but even if we do make 4th we gotta hope Bayern beat Chelsea

Arsenal don't have the easiest of run-ins. Granted, it's highly unlikely we'll get third but it's what we have to aim for. Either way, I want Bayern to beat Chelsea because I don't think their league form deserves a spot in the Champions League next season. Just my opinion, no doubt people will disagree.

Good performance. Would've been nice to get a couple more goals, but will gladly take the three points.
Four points behind the scum now, with a game in hand. The pressure is all on them. I can actually see us sneaking third, as long as Arsenal slip up which is definitely possible.
Not going to lie, I'm starting to notice that Modric isn't as good as he was last season. I would actually consider selling him if we got a good fee and had a replacement lined up.
COYS.

3rd could be wrapped up this weekend if you drop points against Bolton on Thursday and we beat Norwich on the weekend

Very pleased with that performance. Was good to get a few goals as well.
Modric had one of his better games I think, spread the ball around really well. Lennon was on fire, as was Bale. It's so clear now that's where our strength is. It looks like 'Arry may have realised that now so hopefully we see them predominantly down the wings for the next two games.
I really think we now have a brilliant shot at taking third. I'm confident now for the last two games, we just need results to go our way elsewhere.
Rumour is we're going after PSV playmaker Georginio Wijnaldum. He has a £20m release clause in his contract apparently. Looks like we may be preparing for Modric leaving, or even VDV.

Quote:Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker has signed a new contract that will keep him at White Hart Lane until 2017.
Walker joined Spurs from Sheffield United in 2009 and has started 25 of their 36 league games this season.
He said on Twitter: "Happy to have just signed a contract extension. My future is at the club and I believe we have big things to come."
In April, Walker was named as the Professional Footballers' Association Young Player of the Year.
Walker started his career at Sheffield United, and was loaned back to the Blades for the 2009-10 season after joining Tottenham.
Following loan spells at QPR and Aston Villa last season, he has become a first-team regular at White Hart Lane and made his England debut against Spain in November. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17942583Edited by MaxiiGCU: 4/5/2012 06:22:35 PM

Once again we didn't show up when it mattered, but an unlucky goal conceded and a pathetic red card hurt us.
Rose was fouled into committing a foul. But with 65% possession we should have done more.

Yet again, Redknapp astounds me. Bale was given a fucking free-role again, and yet again he was shit in it.
Don't understand why he brought on Parker when we needed a goal. Especially with Defoe on the bench.
In the end, we should've taken three points from that. We were all over Villa. They got a lucky goal, although I still think Friedel could've saved it.
Wasn't a red to Rose imo. Yes, it was a bad tackle. But he was pushed into that tackle. A yellow at most.

Classic Redknapp. Drawing 1-1, know Newcastle have lost, need a goal, so you wait until the 89th minute to make your first sub and make it a defensive midfielder when you've got Saha, Defoe and Dos Santos on the bench.
He had Defoe ready to come on just before you equalised, why on earth would you not still bring him on? It's like he's doing his best to show everyone that the FA made the right choice.

Look I love Scotty Parker but we needed to push forward. We had those three attacking players and yet persisted with the same formation. Heck we almost lost it but for a good block by Kaboul. Fucking hell, Villa are shite as well. McGleish has to go, he's been terrible. How many corners did you need to score? Surely once every 15 times you'd have half a chance... Something I could never understand with the Arsenal either, we get so many corner opportunities and simply don't make the most of them.

Mainly due to the fact we don't really have anyone who can swing a decent one in, even VDV isn't that good. It's even worse when Modric takes them; they rarely get over the first defender.
