Kane was class, in the end we were relatively lucky to win that game. A draw would have been fair. Where we moved greatly this week compared to the Palace game is our rotation in the front third, going forward Kane, Soldado, Eriksen and Lamela were rotating so much that Swansea found it hard to mark them. Walker was a bit rusty but still showed how important he is to us. I think the team we played last night is probably the best we could field ATM (or at least we are definitely able to now). It's been a good 2 years since we've had that. Also, Mason has been excellent. The combination of Nabil and Ryan works well because they compliment each other brilliantly. How much longer can we back Bobby and Lamela? They're the most expensive signings in history and both so disappointing. I'm willing to give Erik until the end of the season, Soldado probably has until January I'd say. Last night for me was confirmation that Bony would be excellent for us. Although in Soldado's defence his general play has improved. I think I would warm to Lamela a lot more if not for that dodgy haircut  I think Eric needs to play as a #9 not as a winger. He doesn't offer width and we become predictable. Great win this morning, will give us confidence. To draw the Blades too, a banana skin potentially but at least it's not chelsea.

Spurs are on the way to Wembley! Hopefully we can get past Sheffield and Liverpool pull out a miracle.

Typical of our games against united. Players is red falling over, Rooney complaining about everything, nervy end to end football, clear penalty denied (Rooney on Kane), no fingernails left at the end.
Impressed by Kane more and more every game.
Lucky for us united didn't bury us by half time. Then again, we are Tottenham and we always ride our luck.

#KanesAGooner. If you're claiming 15 year olds (i cbf looking up when he left Arsenal) you need help. It would be like us riding the success of Carrick at United or Real MAdrids success because of Modric and Bale

It's not even like that, it says he left at a young age. So it has to be at the very most 14.

Doesn't get much easier for us now, Chavs on New Year's Day. I'm still thrilled with the way we played against United, deserved all 3 points IMHO. Been three years since we lost to United

What I meant was draw was fair but if it swayed in anyone's favour it was ours. One things for sure it was a pretty exciting 0-0.

Really?
Pretty generous to say it swayed towards you.
If RVP knew how to finish or if Lloris wasn't the best in the league then you would have comfortably lost
I'm struggling to think of a clear cut chance that you created.

Kane's header springs to mind, and in particular Ryan Mason's chance near the end. Probably my blue and white coloured glasses though :P

Rooney created a clear cut chance for us by trying to rape Kane.
One day we'll get a penalty against United......

Did any of you guys see in the 2nd half, I forget which player it was but the ball went into the feet of our players just inside the corner of the box and the defender had a handful of the shirt, our player was just shielding the ball and the defender was just holding their ground but it should have been a clear penalty, it was as clear a shirt pull as I have ever seen but it was a weird one as both players were still.

So a cuddle isn't worthy of a penalty? You're referring to Vertonghen on Van Persie.

Harry Kane is unstoppable.
Love Mourinho bitching. He's like Wenger, he can never admit to being outplayed.

Now there is a conundrum, do we still buy a striker? Surely not with Kane's form. Ironically the place we need the most strengthening is in the middle. The place where at the start of the season I would have said is our strongest. But tbh I can't see Poch signing anyone, which I don't really mind considering our squad size.
