When I get time in the next couple of weeks I will try and smash out the rest of the season, that will probably be it. Haven't really been playing many video games at all recently.

I am not sure if I have mentioned this but I have changed the under 21's and under 18's squads so that they share names with popular forum members. So that if we are light on players you could see Joffa as the goalkeeper rather than some random bloke.

Need to get out here ASAP, hopefully to help finish the season strongly! I unfortunately can confirm you will miss the rest of the season, when the original injury occured it said you would be out for 3-4 months but it hasn't changed since then so I am guessing your rehab isn't going too well. The injury sustained was a knee tendonitis. It could be related to your lack of pre season due to your ongoing groin problems last season. Zimbos will also miss the rest of the season with a torn hamstring.

FourFourTwo FC who have dominated the Young Player of the Month awards with 11.mvfc.11, macktheknife and milan_7 coming first, second and third respectively. Liverpool have won the Capital One Cup after a 4-1 triumph over Everton at Wembley. Monthly round up:A very good month indeed. We got big wins over Spurs, West Ham and Villa while we came close to getting points against Chelsea and Liverpool. Unfortunately however, we lost zimbos who will now be out for the rest of the season with a torn hamstring which adds to our problems as pv4 is also set to miss the rest of the season with a knee tendonitis. We now have just 9 games left and with a bit of luck hopefully we can break into the Europa League spots as we continue to pull away from the bottom half. This should be made easier after facing the likes of Arsenal, Man United, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea in the last 2 months. 3 of our next four games are also at Australia Road.

West Ham PTS 17 OTHER NEWS11.mvfc.11 has come in second for the Young Player of the Month award behind Callum Chambers. Raheem Sterling rounded out the top 3. Macktheknife has won the Barclays Premier League goal of the month award for January after his effort from distance against Hull. Monthly round upA very mixed month. We started poorly with a draw against Barnsley in the cup where we really should have lost, before a 3 game winning streak against Hull, Barnsley and Newcastle. The loss against Norwich was extremely frustrating while we should have lost by more against the gunners. If someone has asked me if I would taken a draw before the United match I would have taken it and ran but when seeing we were 3-1 with 4 minutes to go it is a bitter pill to swallow. We completed the signing of salmonfc (Scott Sinclair) for 1m and renewed the contracts of a few of our star men. That mixed month means that we are now pretty firmly lodged in 8th and will struggle to rise from that, although our games next month against Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs will help decide that.

So I signed Matthew Leckie who was going to take on the role of salmon fc, then he signs and I get told he doesn't have a work permit. I appeal and it's rejected so now I can't appeal for another 120 days.
Also from now on I'm not doing a summary after each game, instead I will at the end of each month in an attempt to get more consistent updates.

So how are 'we' going in the EPL, Milan_7 - any updates? I have been very busy the past three weeks, but played a few games a couple days ago. In January we always have like 7/8 matches compared to the standard 3/4 so that makes it hard to. But I have been slack and hopefully will have it up by Monday :)

GloryPerth wrote:Thanks Milan and yeah I'm similar - I've never got more than a couple seasons in, so I've never really played the game properly. Just takes a fair bit of time and investment and my game habits have changed a fair bit, as too free time, since I first got into the game. I think I'm more into the 'initial transformation' of a team, getting that team gelling and cementing the change enough for some kind of legacy - quite akin to Ange's stint at the Roar really. Not really interested in 5-6, 10 season dynasties. :p
Thanks for sharing the card - Seems pretty right! Glad to have been capped by Australia too. :)
Hmm I wonder who the 'most expensive' player on our team is? Some of our leading players must be well over the 10M Pound mark?! :o
Edited by GloryPerth: 14/6/2015 03:56:05 AM IIRC, it was 11.mvfc.11 when those were made. But know it is me, I am worth 16m. 11.mvfc.11 is the next closest on 12m.

The ratings and statistics, I comb over like a fine tooth-comb when scouting players - usually using FMScout, aswell as extra details, including miscellaneous and demands, in-game. As too club details, associations, scouting opponents for games, adjusting tactics, training etc... Quasi-perfectionist I guess, but also part of the dual-side appeal/utter-frustration the game can be and that thin-line between immersive fun and getting entirely sick of it, due to that kind of obsession in pre-season recruiting, preparation etc.. not paying off in results or outcomes you seek, seeing you break from the game altogether for indefinitely long periods, like I have for about a good year now, lols. FTR I think I expect too much, too soon, with my teams, especially with all the changes - but like you even said about your 'guy' - it seemed to take him a full season and a bit, before he really hit his straps with your club. Flipside, I can NEVER play FM to the extent where I have a club many seasons in, like into the 2020s or so and getting thicker into a more 'regen-orientated' database. I've read of many FM Hard-cores who do that. Yeah I know the feel, I wish I was someone who could play a save up until the 2020s but I just don't have the time or patience to stick to one save for so long. I love looking at how the game has developed around the world even if I am 3 years in. I am currently doing a save with Reggina which I am 3 seasons in so this is the closest I have come to the 2020 mark, certainly in this version of the game. With Milan_7's game, I wonder how long he will run 'our' game? Season 2 thus far - I presume he will say 'for aslong as he enjoys it'.
Edited by GloryPerth: 11/6/2015 05:16:09 AM Basically until the start of FM16, I love FM and kind of feel an obligation to at least keep this going. I have just been very busy in the last week, and I have exams this week so unlikely that there will be an update. It is in Jan too so there is like 7 games compared to the usual 3 or 4. When it is short updates I can knock out a couple in a few days.
