AUGUST UPDATE FourFourTwo FC 2-1 SwanseaStarting XI: A16Man, Fredsta, pv4, quichefc, Roar_Brisbane, Glory von Perth (chillbilly 63’), Draupinho (99 Problems 86’), BusbyBabe, milan_7, macktheknife, 11.mvfc.11 Goalscorers: Milan_7 (2’) Macktheknife (10’) Angel Rangel (54’) MOTM: milan_7 Coach’s Summary: What a start to life in the Premier League! We rushed out of the blocks in the first 10 minutes after milan_7 scored a stunning free kick inside 90 seconds and then BusbyBabe put in a delicious cross which macktheknife finished off 8 minutes later. But despite that, we trailed off as the game wore on. We were still the better side in the rest of the first half but in the second half we were lucky not to concede more. We will have to improve against stiffer opposition. Hull 3-3 FourFourTwo FCStarting XI: A16Man, Fredsta, pv4, quichefc, Roar_Brisbane, Glory von Perth, Draupinho (chillbilly 75’), BusbyBabe, milan_7, macktheknife, 11.mvfc.11 Goalscorers: Abel Hernandez (8’, 15’, 87’) 11.mvfc.11 (13’, 35’) Macktheknife (pen 75’) MOTM: 11.mvfc.11 Coach’s Summary: A below par performance to be honest. It was pretty even and an exciting match up but in my opinion Hull will go down this year as their squad is pretty weak. We need to improve our defensive shape and our defensive set pieces because it is not good enough at the moment. In other news Redkat picked up an injury in training and will be out for 2 weeks. Charlton 0-2 FourFourTwo FC [CAPITAL ONE CUP 2ND ROUND]Starting XI: Socceroofan4life, ricecrackers, 99 Problems (scouse_roar 78’), The Maco, inala brah, pv4, Draupinho (Glory von Perth 6=76’), jparraga, chillbilly, macktheknife, gabgabgab39 Goalscorers: Chillbilly (40’) Jparraga (78’) MOTM: jparraga Coach’s Summary: A thoroughly professional performance. We put out a weak team because of how close the games were in time and we still were good. We probably should have won by more but I am thrilled we kept a clean sheet because our defending has been poor so far this season. We have also drawn West Brom away in the next around. FourFourTwo FC 3-2 NorwichStarting XI: A16Man, Fredsta, pv4, quichefc, Roar_Brisbane, Glory von Perth, Draupinho, BusbyBabe, milan_7, macktheknife (chillbilly 56’), 11.mvfc.11 Goalscorers: Macktheknife (21’) Lewis Grabban (pen 45+1, pen 48) Glory von Perth (53’) Milan_7 (70’) MOTM: milan_7 Coach’s Summary: Decent. We went in front early again due to another goal from macktheknife who continued his (dare I say it) #filthy form. Then either side of the break pv4 gave away TWO penalties which Grabban converted, but from there we fought back and in the end we picked up a deserved three points. It was also great to see Glory von Perth finally break his goalscoring drought after going 27 games without a goal. TABLE1. Man City PTS 9 2. Liverpool PTS 9 3. Tottenham PTS 7 4. FourFourTwo PTS 7
5. Chelsea PTS 6 6. Wigan PTS 6 7. Everton PTS 6 8. Newcastle PTS 5 9. Arsenal PTS 4 10. Swansea PTS 4 11. Leicester PTS 4 12. Man Utd PTS 3 13. Stoke PTS 3 14. West Brom PTS 3 15. Soton PTS 3 16. QPR PTS 2 17. Villa PTS 1
18. Hull PTS 1 19. Norwich PTS 0 20. West Ham PTS 0 OTHER NEWSFourFourTwo FC have dominated the Premier League Young Player of the month award for August as milan_7, macktheknife and 11.mvfc.11 came in at 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.

18. Hull PTS 1 19. Norwich PTS 0 20. West Ham PTS 0 ... Nice start to the league indeed - could still be fighting for the CL places come end of season? :o  And Woo-hoo! \:d/ I wouldn't expect many goals, a deeper-lying midfielder, defensive half player and a 'Finishing' rating that should be between 7 and 10, at most. My guy is in fair part, 'assembled' as an 'assist man' - with his passing qualities amongst his strongest attributes - so I'm curious how many assists he's gotten? I have some passing 'specialities' or whatever they're called, too - like 'Tries Killer Balls', 'looks to pass instead of shoot' etc... so my guy should be trying some neat passes and 'one-two' team-play in-games - is he? ..that reminds me: So, how bout the rest of us? ;) :) BTW Those are just cards with statistics - are you able to post screen caps of the actual in-game profiles of our players, with the attribute ratings etc..? Because we all submitted the details with attributes and I'm sure we're all curious to see how those submissions successfully translated into the game - especially when you had the CA limitation of 100-130 or whatever it was? :-k Also, thanks for the efforts thus far Milan_7, glad to see it active again and progressing nicely! With the team and it's squad gelling far more we can all expect this team to be performing much better, to your tactics and putting in a more consistent run of results. I've experienced that in FM too as I too often under-take a substantive squad over-haul in pre-season and it naturally takes most of the first season to integrate new signings and get them adjusting to your style and even training. What position was I playing for the cup game? Is that centre mid/defensive mid? I think that's my first game outside of CB, if I've kept up with the updates closely enough.

SEPTEMBER UPDATE Newcastle 3-2 FourFourTwo FCStarting XI: A16Man, Fredsta, pv4, quichefc, Roar_Brisbane, Glory von Perth (chillbilly 61’), Draupinho, BusbyBabe, milan_7, macktheknife (Redkat 72’), 11.mvfc.11 Goalscorers: Milan_7 (18’) Emmanuel Riviere (19’, 76’) Siem de Jong (78’) Pv4 (84’) MOTM: milan_7 Coach’s Summary: Poor display in a game where a win would have been necessary. Our next two EPL games are against Man United and Liverpool and after that result we could be in for a lean September. We never looked like winning and the only time we threatened them was from free kicks, with milan_7 scoring one, hitting the woodwork twice and setting up pv4 for the second goal from a dead ball situation. Unfortunately though we were too sloppy at the back and we will have to improve if we want to get anything from the champions of England. FourFourTwo FC 1–4 Man UnitedStarting XI: A16Man, Fredsta, pv4, quichefc, Roar_Brisbane, Glory von Perth, Draupinho, jparraga, milan_7, macktheknife (Redkat 78’), 11.mvfc.11 Goalscorers: Antonio Valencia (4’) Angel Di Maria (8’) Robin van Persie (55’, 77’) Milan_7 (71’) MOTM: milan_7 Coach’s Summary: Can I just copied and paste last weeks’ summary? Once again our poor defending cost us, once again we offered nothing, once again we only threatened from milan’s set pieces, once again that is where our goal came from. Poor performance and leaves us with 0 points from September West Brom 2-1 FourFourTwo FC [CAPITAL ONE CUP 3RD ROUND] Starting XI: Socceroofan4life, Fredsta, 99 Problems, scouse_roar, inala brah, pv4 (Glory von Perth 76’), chillbilly, BusbyBabe (Eastern Glory 85’), Redkat, macktheknife, gabgabgab39 Goalscorers: Redkat (3’) Craig Gardner (pen 21’) Georgious Samaras (85’) MOTM: scouse_roar Coach’s Summary: We put out a weak team and paid the price, beaten by the team that knocked us out the cup last year. I am frustrated though because Lee Probert made two decisions which cost us the game. Firstly awarding them a penalty where the contact was so slight that Berahino didn’t even bother to dive, and then disallowing a goal for offside when macktheknife was level (ok that one was technically the linesman’s fault, so fuck him too). We are now out the cup and have failed to meet our expectations in the Capital One Cup. Liverpool 4–0 FourFourTwo FCStarting XI: A16Man, Fredsta, pv4, quichefc, inala Brah, BusbyBabe, Glory von Perth, Draupinho, Roar_Brisbane, 11.mvfc.11, gabgabgab39 (milan_7 45’) Goalscorers: Daniel Sturridge (13’, 49’, 56’) Raheem Sterling (21’) Red cards: Draupinho (89’) MOTM: Roar_Brisbane Coach’s Summary: Shocking end to a shocking month. It was always going to be tough going to Anfield but with the players we have I honestly thought we had a shot, but in the end we could barely even get a shot on target. We tried to change the formation up to suit a counter attacking style of play but they killed us with the extra time and space. Balotelli and Sturridge would continuously split and drag our centre backs out of position which game more time for Sterling and Henderson who would bomb on. And to make it all worse, the hubcaps have been stolen off of our team bus. TABLE1. Man City PTS 18 2. Tottenham PTS 14 3. Liverpool PTS 14 4. Newcastle PTS 11 5. Chelsea PTS 10 6. Wait, is the hubcaps thing legit?
I feel like a goal and all starts (one at CM) in that month was good for me personally, but I'm disappointed with our run of losses. Hopefully we can turn this around soon!

Our poor form is mostly due to our tough fixture list IMO, we are always better at home and our only home game in that month was against United (who won the league last year).

OCTOBER UPDATE FourFourTwo FC 1–0 Aston VillaStarting XI: A16Man, Fredsta, pv4, 99 Problems, Roar_Brisbane, Glory von Perth, quichefc, BusbyBabe (jparraga 62’), milan_7 (chillbilly 80’), macktheknife (Redkat 45’), 11.mvfc.11 Goalscorers: Pv4 (53’) Red cards: Quichefc (80’) MOTM: Fredsta Coach’s Summary: Back to winning ways. We did not play very well but we were still clearly the better side and probably did deserve the points. Once again though it was off a set piece where we scored and it was nice to see pv4 notch again. We did get a man sent off though again, quichefc who was pushed up into Draupinho’s spot after his red card against Liverpool. In other news, macktheknife will be out for 3-4 weeks after he sustained an injury in today’s game. Tottenham 3-3 FourFourTwo FCStarting XI: A16Man, Fredsta, pv4, scouse_roar, Roar_Brisbane, Glory von Perth, Draupinho (chillbilly 78’), BusbyBabe, milan_7, Redkat, 11.mvfc.11 Goalscorers: Roberto Soldado (24’) Younes Belhanda (27’, 34’) 11.mvfc.11 (43’) Milan_7 (45’, 84’) Red cards: Ettiene Capoue (85’) MOTM: milan_7 Coach’s Summary: What a comeback! 3-0 down against the 2nd best team in the league so far this season and I thought we were set for a mauling but a tactical switch to try and match them for possession worked a charm as we nicked a goal off of a defensive error in the first half before milan_7 scored two goals against his boyhood club to get us a point. In the end after the red card we had a few chances and if any team deserved to win it was us. West Ham 4-2 FourFourTwo FC Starting XI: A16Man, Fredsta, pv4, scouse_roar, Roar_Brisbane, Glory von Perth, Draupinho (chillbilly 78’), BusbyBabe, milan_7, Redkat, 11.mvfc.11 Goalscorers: Mauro Zarate (5’, 68’) Matt Jarvis (37’) Redkat (61’) Milan_7 (90+1’) Enner Valencia (90+2’) MOTM: Redkat Coach’s Summary: What the hell was that? We were absolutely horrible and have been beaten by a side that was without a win coming into this game. To concede four against them is atrocious, at the moment it seems the only time we score a lot is when we concede a lot so we need to work on finding a balance. FourFourTwo FC 3-3 ChelseaStarting XI: A16Man, Fredsta, pv4, quichefc, Roar_Brisbane, Glory von Perth, Draupinho, jparraga, milan_7, Redkat 11.mvfc.11 Goalscorers: Jparraga (15’) Ramires (20’) Redkat (26’) Jackson Martinez (47’) Diego Costa (52’) 11.mvfc.11 (56’) MOTM: milan_7 Coach’s Summary: What a brilliant result! We faced one of the best teams in Europe with players who would walk into almost any team in the world and matched them every step of the way. A very even and exciting match which got the result it deserved. Our defending was once again poor but that is the price you pay when you go for it against a top team. TABLE1. Man City PTS 27 2. Liverpool PTS 23 3. Arsenal PTS 22 4. Man United PTS 22 5. Tottenham PTS 21 6. Chelsea PTS 20 7. Newcastle PTS 16 8. Everton PTS 15 9. FourFourTwo PTS 12 10. Leicester PTS 12 11. Norwich PTS 11 12. West Brom PTS 11 13. Swansea PTS 10 14. Stoke PTS 10 15. Wigan PTS 10 16. Southampton PTS 9 17. Hull PTS 7 18. Aston Villa PTS 6 19. West Ham PTS 6 20. QPR PTS 5 OTHER NEWSMilan_7 has won the Young Player of the month award for October. With team mate Redkat coming in at third. 11.mvfc.11 has come in at third for the goal of the month after a brilliant team goal against his boyhood team, Chelsea.

Just got job offers from Borussia Moechengladbach and Southampton on the same day. Obviously not taking it but pretty cool to get, especially seeing BMG won the league last year (although they are in 16th now).

Milan_7 scored yet another free kick and then assisted jparraga to give us the win and jparraga again proved why he deserves to be starting every week. In other news, milan_7 now has 8 league goals this season. The same amount as he had in the entirety of last season. Four of his goals have been free kicks. FourFourTwo FC 3-1 StokeStarting XI: A16Man, Fredsta, pv4 (99 Problems 58’), quichefc, Roar_Brisbane, zimbos, Draupinho, jparraga (BusbyBabe 16’), milan_7, Redkat, 11.mvfc.11 Goalscorers: 11.mvfc.11 (9’) BusbyBabe (85’) Redkat (86’) Jon Walters (90+2) MOTM: Redkat Coach’s Summary: Dominant performance which deserved all three points. BusbyBabe finally hit some form after jparraga’s injury which now means we have macktheknife, jparraga and chillbilly all out with injury. This injury crisis will be tough to get through and is particularly hard as I was planning on giving all 3 of those players a lot of game time this month. Leicester 1-3 FourFourTwo FC Starting XI: A16Man, Fredsta, pv4 (99 Problems 63’), quichefc, Roar_Brisbane, zimbos (chillbilly 90’), Draupinho (chillbilly 78’), BusbyBabe, milan_7, Redkat, 11.mvfc.11 Goalscorers: Redkat (pen 8’) 11.mvfc.11 (11’) Anthony Knockaert (37’) Milan_7 (59’) MOTM: milan_7 Coach’s Summary: Three in a row baby! Another solid win where we were clearly the better side. We came out of the blocks early and should have been up by 4 or 5 after 20 minutes, but instead let them back in after a cheap goal. Then milan_7 scored his 5th free kick of the season to show why he is a candidate for the European Golden Boy award. TABLE1. Man City PTS 33 2. Chelsea PTS 29 3. Arsenal PTS 28 4. Tottenham PTS 27 5.
