China always the under-dogs, while Saudi's always amongst the usual group of 'favourites' - just another reason to go for China IMHO. :p But also like spfc said, would be nice to see China shine to some degree in a major tournament - especially now their cashed up C-League is on the rise, challenging to be the best league in the AFC!

Clearly these leagues have stepped up to the challenge. Saudi look good, Qatar are fucking on another level also.
Must be all this foreign influence coming into their Leagues. Although yeah China shouldn't be too bad you think with what Ganzhoa Evergrande having a lot of foreign influence money / quality coach etc now.

Qatar and their investment in Aspire Academies etc... I doubt they're the only ones doing that, in that part of the world, either.

The Saudi's pro-active as expected, but... China are too, so much soo recent times that Saudi's dropping back! Wave after wave into final third, a few corners. Lacking the effective final ball etc... as per norm with a number of AFC sides.
