It's massive in Sweden. As you can see many of the acts songs are written by swedes.
Here they have 6 Saturday shies where they played to sold out crowds in each major city. Before the final in Stockholm. It wouldn't surprise me if over 5 million watched on Saturday. It's probably more.

Ireland has a history of winning, they take it really seriously too.

Macedonia and Montenegro took the piss out of the voting process, consequently had their votes disqualified.

Highlights: Sweden, Montenegro, Israel, Australia, Italy, Estonia

Lowlights: Cyprus, France, Hungary, Serbia

Montenegro was good.


Austrian King of Leon were crap. I almost vomited in my mouth when the Russian chick was crying after her performance.

Austria and Germany both got 0 points. Germany's wasn't that bad IMO.

The German entry was actually the runner up of their national comp because the winner pulled out straight away.

I guess you could say Holland, Belgium and Buli.2 were in the contest :lol:
