Hi all,
Given the increasing amount of people, whose posts some users don’t want to read, how about we consider the introduction of a ‘Block’ mechanism on here, which is where users can block the reading of posts from select users we don’t want to converse with.
Will work both ways (i.e. some posters won’t want to read my posts, and I don’t want to read, nor receive, replies from certain users.) and will save the Mods heartache when complaints are lodged.

Moving this to Feedback. I don't know if such a function exists on these kinds of forums, or forums in general, but I don't like the idea. Ignore the posts you want to ignore. Abide by the forum rules - and I would like to point out there is one about Forum Atmosphere in general that I believe many people do not abide by at times (inc me, to be fair :lol: ). If certain posters offend you that much, write a chrome extension to replace the contents of their posts with something pleasant, such as a filler picture. Fairly trivial to do with a weekends worth of messing around using an existing plugin as a template (eg: the stop tony meow plugin). Just a matter of locating the tags in the rendered HTML and replacing the text between them (can also be done for other posters quoting the person you're trying to block.) Blacklist can be stored in a file locally and updated as necessary.
