At United through the season they at various times offer "3 game memberships".
I know a lot of people with "7 game memberships" too

108k as opposed to 114k 2014/15 I can put my hand up and say that I chose the wrong option. I thought they would either increase or remain stable. But then again the voting for this poll was out months before the season even started. Next year we have to improve. I'm making an early prediction that we'll hit 120k based on no other info other than the fact that unless we have another horrid launch to the season, we should pick up some ground. The FFA will be making sure they don't repeat the same mistakes (hopefully) and with a new A-league CEO, he'll be fired up to get the league off on a bang. I think the FFA's 125k target they set this year (which was never going to happen) is certainly reachable next season if certain things fall into place. THe hardest thing to decipher is whether memberships are actually fair dinkum ticketed memberships or not. I know most clubs do it right, but you take a look at the way the afl and it's an absolute joke. Swans came out today saying they have 50k members, but that would imply every seat at the scg is already taken, yet there is room for stadium members and one off game tickets available all the time. THis says that their "membership" is really an affiliation with the club. What clubs should really be doing is releasing the financial figures earned via memberships. That would tell you whether those figures are for season/multi game ticket holders or not. 1 member paying a minimum of $150 is not the same as a token "member" paying $20 to receive special offers and club news.

Hoping that all clubs next year push the membership side of things as they will realise it's a lot easier to market to people that are subscribed and following you via membership etc. Their online presence is already starting to grow substantially. But City have the easy financial means to actually get out there and buy their presence on billboards etc, like they did with New York. Not sure why they haven't done that yet. They have plenty of empty seats to fill and their football is great to watch.

Also now they are playing at Homebush you need to also take in the fact that AnZ stadium members will get free tickets to all games and there are ~20k stadium members surely with a lot of cross over with WSW fans This only accounts for 4 games and two of those are derby matches. The team will play all other games at spotless which only holds 25k, and thats for red ball sports, so i dare say capacity will be even lower than 25k. Id say the bigger influence is that the team is no longer playing in the west and that its an oval ground,

Those were the final figures for the season. Our target next season has to be 125k as outlined by the FFA for this season, but a massive push on marketing and promotion with some fresh marquees will hopefully allow us to grow the numbers.
Overall membership and attendance wise hasn't been a terrible year despite the very slow start. And if Brisbane had pulled similar numbers to last season alone we would have had the same number of ticketed members.
New membership records for:
Melbourne Victory Sydney FC Perth Glory Wellington Phoenix

I think it proves that if Glory had a few years of success we would be one of the bigger clubs in the league. It's unbelievable that we are above Brisbanes number. Our membership are more expensive, we hadn't had any real success and have been through so much mis management. Brisbane have one scandal after multiple years of success and their memberships half. The late surge must be those mid-season packs, like that 7-game 'Festive Feast of Football' packs and the like? They were advertising some special offer via Twitter atleast, for a limited period recently too - a special offer covering a few matches ( For the three games this week). IIRC There has always tended to be a late surge, like when Glory achieved their record around 6,500 last year, the last three or four hundred were also signed up during this period. So it's matching that trend. It's interesting to see, as you say, the base not dropping off too far from last season, despite the Cap upheaval and poor start to the season. That has more affected the walk-ups it seems, but the base still consistent. :) Edited by GloryPerth: 18/12/2015 04:45:05 PM 3 game passes are via ticket master and not club so won't be classed as members.
