A Vietnam win by one or two goals and a likely Oman loss (or draw) would see Syria, China, UAE and North Korea through regardless of the results in UAE v Saudi.

A Vietnam win by three or more goals and a likely Oman loss (or draw) would see Syria, China, UAE and Vietnam through regardless of the results in UAE v Saudi.

A Iraq win or draw and the likely Oman loss (or draw) would make it Syria, China, UAE and Iraq qualifying, regardless of the results in UAE v Saudi.

Oman winning can change a lot but I wouldn't bet on that happening.

Saw a few rising sun flags in the crowd. AFC should ban them.

I'm normally not one to moan about things but if a Nazi flag is banned I don't see why that Japanese flag is allowed. It's displayed on a lot of clothing brands and at games. For many it represents the identical reign of terror from the German regime across Asia.

it the flag of their navy and Army ...it not same thing as Nazi flag....it more like German Luftwaffe symbol

HT Iraq 1-0 over Vietnam. I don't see Vietnam scoring four goals unanswered after that, nor Oman to get up for a win away to Iran a goal down, so it's my bedtime.

Happy to call it as Syria, China, UAE and Iraq as best 2nd placers joining Australia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran, Japan, Thailand, South Korea and Uzbekistan in Round 3.

Bring on the draw on April 12!

Only conceivable change is UAE and Saudi swapping spots as 1st and 2nd if the UAE get the win, either way they both qualify.
