In these threads there will be many on 442 who will have not viewed these videos and have no idea that Australian youth is playing football like this. Perhaps you can lay blame at the ffa for not fighting an effective information war. These young players and tournaments should be front page news, but we've barely heard a word on social media or elsewhere This is the easiest way to get information across and it is nearly never utilised. However when ronaldo is n town ts wank wank wank. Its clear the priority of these mugs and its money.

Decentric, they need for Europe football to be superior to Australian football, because then this football is special- unique and they themselves become special- unique for following it ...it was like guys (In Australia) who follow NFL . but didn't have any interesting in other sports in Australia ... Other way mate.... It's more uncommon to follow Australian football than European football. All my mates could name 11 premier league players, not many could name 11 A-League players. you can't be Superior when following inferior League

But i think Han Berger and Co. may have left a huge legacy when it comes to developing our next gen of talent the skill level of these under 15s and the under 17s is something i haven't seen with aussie kids in a very long time!
And scary part the kids that might come after that at under 12 level, thank you Berger and Co! =d>
Good. I'd like to see them play 5v5 (with keepers) right up to under 12s like they do in Brazil. You mean futsal? Most of the NSW boys in this squad played futsal (and still do in the summer) and Brook was a standout for SA at the futsal nationals a couple of years back. As for the lack of FFA coverage, it is well known that they don't like much media exposure for these younger ages groups. They're still 15 year olds (and younger) and they want them to develop without the attention.

They're still 15 year olds (and younger) and they want them to develop without the attention. Anything to help the lads building up their technical foundation, there is a now a large emphasis at this at a younger age starting from the 8 year olds till 15 that technique must be acquired or else it's too late just like how it's done with the rest of the world. Except this time its built on design here due to the diminished culture of street football as well as the changes in society contrast to how it was 20 or 30 years ago. Futsal has always had a big say in the last few years especially with the current gen players such as Antonis,Amini and Rogic and many others but now throw in the SAP training and SSGs too and the level of technique and creativity these kids have is quite frightening. I haven't seen Australian players this technically gifted before. Edited by Barca4life: 3/8/2015 01:25:42 PM

Yeh thanks eg it's been fantastic to experience the difference in culture. I have no doubt that this will be the best thing for the boys. Will make them appreciate Aust and keep them grounded. They would now understand that it not all glamorous playing for your country all the time. Hard work. 👍

Also the Cambodia Singapore game is on before it so the stadium could be crazy. Can't wait, we're hitting both. Garnorf
