Why does he keep mentioning Turkish descent? They are German, Turks have been there a long time.

2-0 down and we haven't shown technique, and/or tactical penetration, I'm a bit disappointed to be truthfull.

I don't want to say too much about the NC, but I was very surprised by the selections (a limited outlook on things is limited) tbh, but that's what they want...... Still long time to go, but it's not looking good, in any way you want to look at it

3-0. Not ideal defending.

A bit of deja vu of recent years. Opponent happy to let us fiddle around and pounce on mistakes, poor defensive transition.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

It is all to do with coaching, teaching transition and positioning!!!!!!!!

we're having some really difficulties in dealing with the german press and we're very average in defensive transition.
We don't seem to have any type of gamebreaker in the midfield. It'd be nice to see the team play a key pass with more confidence

Bit of a reality check unfortunately. Germany terrific. Did I see an Australian 1 on 1 with the keeper not take the shot because he was on his left?

That German defence organises itself so quickly.

Much better this half, taking our time to find the killer ball instead of rushing it into a prepared defence who are ready to counter, which is how we shipped all three goals.

Well this the perfect time to evaluate the curriculum, where do we measure up, where do we not?

If only both halves were like this, great improvement so far.
