2 teams have died in QLD already. A 3rd going into the hands of the FFA for the second time.
I wonder if Fox would mind another Sydney or Melbourne team.

Maybe the FFA can sell them to ING or Shell so they can be more of a Dutch club.

Fuck off Bakries. Cheque is in the mail, the kunts are just stalling and giving a big fuck you to the FFA because they know they wont do shit. They waited until the last minute supposedly to send the money, just enough to keep ticking on. The FFA made a deadline, they didn't meet it, grow some fucken balls and kick them out, it was due today not tomorrow. Edited by MrBrisbane: 15/9/2015 08:14:00 PM

Looks like the Roar are going to be the GCU of the league this season! The way they're going, they'll be lucky to get 5,000 per game.

Bet365 should be running a book on who leaves first:The owners, the players, the fans or the coach. Another year of the Bakries is just too horrible to contemplate.

Some fans are already boycotting apparently, i cant see how any player hearing this news would want to stay with the thought of the Bakries hanging around for another 2 years. Even poor old Aloisi may be thinking its time to leave.

FFA need to step in. The fans are abandoning the club. It will have an effect on the next TV deal, 5000 average in Brisbane would be a horrible look.

Quote:Brisbane Roar owners extend A-League licence deadline after cash injection
Brisbane Roar's under-siege owners have been given yet another extension by Football Federation Australia after tipping around $1 million into the A-League club's empty coffers.
The money will not land in bank accounts until Wednesday - meaning players and staff have once again been paid late - but it has satisfied FFA and helped Indonesian conglomerate the Bakrie Group dodge the immediate threat of losing control of the three-time champions.
This is despite FFA chief executive David Gallop's warning that any "slippage" by the Bakrie Group in paying wages by close of business on Tuesday would prompt the governing body to revoke the Roar's A-League licence.
"We have sighted bank documents that indicate that the Bakrie Group has today transferred a significant amount of funds to the Brisbane Roar, in line with FFA's direction," Gallop said in a statement issued on Tuesday evening.
"The funds are sufficient to pay the monthly salaries and begin the process to recapitalise the club business.
"FFA's current warning to the Bakrie Group on the status of the A-League licence remains in place until we are satisfied all undertakings are met."
It is understood Bakrie Group representatives have also told Gambaro Pty Ltd and Beecroft Laundry Service, the two local businesses attempting to liquidate the Roar over unpaid debts, that they will have their money within 24 hours.
A court hearing on the matter is going ahead as scheduled on Wednesday morning. Meanwhile, it is believed the Mantra Group is set to begin a wind-up motion of their own against the Roar.
The A-League season kicks off in three weeks, with the sport already in turmoil due to the FFA's bitter war with Professional Footballers Association over a new pay deal.

I mean they knew these payments needed to be pay on the 15th. what they do, pay it at 5pm on the 15th. This is going to happen evey single time which is going to destabilise the club even more. I know the FFA can't do anything until newcastle is off their books. BUT FFS HURRY UP.
