Apparently it was three attackers at Bataclan, and they're all dead.

I agree with you on that. It is just that the problems with all other religions are dwarfed by the seemingly endless problems with Islam.

Is "our thoughts and prayers are with XYZ" the most overused, hackneyed phrase used in times like these? The "prayers" bit is particularly grating.

Would be replacing a religions kind of extremism with a political kind of extremism.

I think the grating thing is the hundred plus people who died, not the harmless benign offer of prayers.

Kind of fucked up that picture, but you can find others. The cross continues through the logo to be more crucifix shaped.

My point is if God's listening to the these "prayers" were was God when these people were getting shot? "I want to thank God that I survived that massacre". Right, God loves you but he didn't give a shit about the other 117 people that got blown away.

Kudos to the media, they have done an excellent job this time. They're not showing gory pictures or carnage that only serves the extremists agenda to terrorize.

However if what salmonfc says is true then it refers only to those still in there when the police assault started. Some reports state there was over 1000 in there in total.

A journalist who was at the game was saying how the mood changed when everyone learned what was going on from their phones. Must have been so weird for the players.
No official announcement was made until the end of the game over the stadium PA.

Edited by paladisious: 14/11/2015 12:06:33 PM I think its pretty obvious to those of us in the know that he was a Christian. Let them deny it all they want.
