Doubt it, it's doing the FFA's work for them.

Everyone has a rant at the media.

but End-of-day,

- Dickheads more aware that they may be banned
- Sponsors see their investment as less risky
- 'Families' see that something's being done about safety worries

Yep. I betcha of these "ultraz" and football KULCHA blokes will think twice now.

Was all fun and games until your mug lands on the front page of a tabloid rag.

You realise it could quite easily be your mug shot dug up from a crappy facebook pic because you were in the wrong place at the wrong time?
You could be banned because you walked out the front of your house in your wanderers jersey on a tuesday whilst kids were playing with fireworks in the street.

Being completely ignorant makes you no better then the Rebecca Wilsons of the world.

You realise the HAL is a private corporation that owes you absolutely nothing.

They host entertainment events on private property and offer you the chance to pay and see it, but under FFA terms and conditions.

Same as going to a nightclub, they can turn you away if they feel like it.

Don't like the small print, don't buy a ticket.

Man you are an idiot.

Without these fans, the league is nothing.

I'd happily take 4000 loud crazy fans over 16000 boring losers like you.

Here's one I prepared earlier. (In another thread.)

munrubenmuz wrote:
Excluding those falsely named and banned, those banned for entry onto the field of play and underage persons I find it rather ironic that blokes are actually whinging about this (and people of the forum are defending them.)

For years the FFA and the police have been giving warnings about flares and grubby behaviour and what do the vast majority of forumites say here about it?

Mostly next to fuck all. The majority are blathering on week after week about how flares should be allowed, how blokes fighting in the street have nothing to do with football, how breaking chairs an vandalizing stadiums is nothing to worry about and it's worse in other codes or some other bullshit.

Well guess what? Turns out if you act like a fuckwit and break the law your name and picture can be plastered on the front page of the paper.

The chickens have well and truly come home to roost.

The blokes banned and named for taking flares get the least amount of sympathy from me because they were warned repeatedly not to do it and what did they do? Took them anyway, like it was a giant game to give the coppers the big middle finger.

Well who's laughing now.

Flame away flare chuckers, vandals and grubby brawlers.

Thats fair enough but i hardly think even those who are guilty need their privacy breached it such a way and to be named and shamed. Is this going to be the culture for any minor sporting crime? Or any in general? Illegal Downloading? Speeding tickets? I mean should i pull my kids out of a school because their teacher has a speeding in a school zone breach from 3 years ago?
All these issues should be dealt like any other misdemeanor, with an avenue to contest a charge and prove your innocence, and to have your privacy kept.

People have a very lovely habit of loving their own political correctness. It seriously doesn't hurt to show the least bit of compassion when bullying and exploitation is at large.

Would laugh real hard if tsf was one of those outed.

Maybe we should out you for harassing children online? We see if you like that, and we'll see what your family and friends think of a grown man who goes on the Internet to abuse adolescents.

Id rather be know for standing in the vicinity of a flare than something as weird as that.

I hope this caused outrage as well

Quote:
SUNRISE producer Michael Pell’s weekend work trip to Perth started as more of a party that ended with a hangover.

The self-professed wunderkind of breakfast television hit the town on Friday night ahead of Saturday’s big event that saw a phenomenal result of nearly $26 million raised for child health and medical research in WA.

After dinner, Pell is understood to have farewelled his colleagues and not long later was seen sitting outside Perth’s Connections nightclub.

That was around midnight. Perth is three hours behind Sydney.

A Seven representative confirmed the 33-year-old had been asked to “take a break” from the venue and that he’d been sitting on a bench outside. He’d bought a bottle of water at a kebab store next door as he waited for a taxi back to his hotel.

If I was walking to a stadium with my family and I got accosted six times, I reckon I would know if it was two or three people who were doing the accosting.

How unlucky would you have to be to get accosted six times in the one night?

Who gives a flying fcuk what she says.

Wilson has been doing these anti A-league pieces for so long it has become a cliche.

Her and her little network of fear mongers have not had an impact on the growth of the game which must drive her insane.

Crowds have been ok for a league with only 10 teams.
