I said Bale was not a bargain and I had a long thought about trying to take Neuer off you but decided to go with Lukaku and Casillas instead, a great decision. Had myself down for last so happy with getting through. Problem is I can't see Wales beating Russia so Bales price was probably spot on. Group stage bargain but no value for knockout rounds Why not? Russia are nothing special, Wales beat Slovakia, Slovakia beat Russia so Wales should beat Russia. Russia just had a bit more luck against England in that England could not finish them off. And if Slovakia do not beat England, Wales only need to draw to finish second.

The first game tonight, Belgium - Ireland could be critical in a number of match ups. It will be interesting to see if Belgium can put there poor play against Italy behind them and create some goals. Any bar a dominate win would be disappointing for Belgium.
