Who cares about the logies? Too bad his mustafa story was made up.
But anyway, he's the guy telling us all what to think on his nightly show hence why he's relevant.

Actually, I have explained a lot of things to you. I have referred to my Imam when I do not understand something.

Ahh. Nice of you to personally attack me. I have missed it so much. Calling me out on my lacking mental ability, as well as asserting falsely that I spread some form of ill advised knowledge....

...which is what you have shown in this paragraph. I have been reading the Quran for decades. I have not admitted anything. The Quran does not promote murder, rape, and theft.

We don't have commands like that. I am not an apologist.

Yes, long time. Kind of needed a break from this thread. Made some good friends on here.

Things are ok. Struggling to find a job at the moment and get my career on track. Other than that, can't really complain.

What do you mean in terms of change? Are you talking about the Taliban? If so, essentially the Taliban wanted to enforce a more Islamic rule of law in an Islamic country. Unfortunately the people in charge went about their business in a far more extreme and unethically islamic manner.

I am really no expert but in Iran's case I believe in the 70s the Iranian people were actually directed to dress more "Western" so in fact the perceived cultural freedom from that era vs post revolution was a actually just another directive from a dictator.

If nothing else it provides a fascinating insight into the mindset/political system of the region, or at least Iran.

Worldwide statistical trends suggest that wherever Islam takes root it outgrows all other religions and eventually dominates.
Do we want this?

A simple 'yes' or 'no' shall suffice then we can avoid any arguments.

I'd prefer no religion to dominate, as none agree with my values or beliefs. I think religious freedom is something we should "fight" for.

We already have religious freedom, however what if one religion doesnt permit religious freedom if it becomes the state religion?

"Better to die on your feet, than live on your knees"

You seem to be ready for war, but who with?

No one ... I just will "fight" for my values if required.

No one is suggesting banning any religion here, however I assume Ms Hanson is suggesting managing immigration quotas to ensure the values of relative freedom that we enjoy in this country are not overwhelmed by a culture that holds different values.

So to ensure religious freedom she is suggesting to discriminate against people's religious freedom??

Do you have to even declare your religious denomination when you migrate to Australia??

When one particular religion doesnt allow for religious freedom then you must prevent that religion from attaining political power if you want to maintain freedom of religion.

Religion can usually be assumed by the country of origin of the arrivals and/or the names if they have any paperwork.
Its not fail safe but you'd be able to account for probably more than 90%.

If we took 50,000 refugees a year for 10 years that's still less than 1% of the population. That also assumes that every last one of them is a muslim.

Did you account for the fact they reproduce?
Look at the statistics of countries with a greater intake. The percentage growths are startling and they're exponential.

Just to return to this excellent post it made an great point.

It is about creating a fear of invasion for each generation:

Australia's involvement in the Vietnam War was largely because of a fear of Communism spreading to our shores.

We had the Cold War last through the 80's, and continually feared Communism.

In the 1990's and early this century we were concerned of the Asian Invasion. First we feared the Japanese buying up our landmarks and taking over (when I was in primary school we were all going to be speaking Japanese by the end of high school apparently). Then it moved on to boat people invading Australia from Asia.

Now the focus has shifted to Muslims.

It is a cycle. Politicians / advocates use half truths and play on people's fear (ignorance) to create an illusion that our sovereignty is under threat by some external factor. So this generation they fear Muslims, the next generation will have a new invasion to fear as with other invasion threats they are nothing more than paranoia and only can hold mileage for a few years.

Perhaps one day the invasion will come, and we'll be oblivious to it because of the boys who cried wolf, and Pauline Hanson is definitely one of those who cries wolf ... and hence why her relevance has waned over the years.

Typical of the pinkos to mute opinion they dont agree with or more accurately cannot provide a reasoned response to.
In my short time here one thing I've observed is the pinko faction seem to be quite aggressive with their language.
Its sad we cannot settle differences with reasoned debate.

It's all about preaching to the converted now.
The thing with the Left is that even if you disagree on anything that is even within a fraction ...you are categorised as a ultra nationalist extremist that is racist or bigoted .
No such thing as a grey area for this mob

A picture is worth a thousand words, which I could undoubtedly provide and you would undoubtedly disregard.

Instead you have the image of a generation oppressed into the wearing of garments that serve no purpose than to discomfort, disempower and discomfort women forced into your mind.

If the west is a patriarchy for rewarding males who are on average more able to biologically and psychologically provide work for a lifetime, victim blaming among many other trivial things; what does that make many Islamic countries who disallow women to work, drive and prosecute rape victims?

It also applies to the LBGT community as well, but its members aren't forced to wear a hijab...

...but instead stoned to death or forced to jump off buildings..something along these lines

You could really learn a few things from Milo Y. He is my inspiration.
Give up, JP.

It's like that is it?

Back on topic, do we really want to become an Islamic country?
Worldwide statistical trends suggest that wherever Islam takes root it outgrows all other religions and eventually dominates.
Do we want this?

A simple 'yes' or 'no' shall suffice then we can avoid any arguments.
