To be fair, the actual gameplay reel that they showed of Infinite Warfare at E3 made it look way better than the trailer.

EA execs fought back hard on BF1 because they argued that kids didn't know what World War 1 was. I'm so glad that the dev team won that argument because it looks amazing.

And then the gnashing of "why aren't there any female combatants in a WW1 shooter" teeth began almost immediately :lol:

Even the game-play looks inaccurate - small squad based activity played a minimal role in the war. Why not have mass 32 vs 32 charges instead? I'd play the shit out of that.

Imagine how fun it would be if in BF1 you just sat in trenches slowly dying of dysentery. There's no realism in gaming etc

The shellshock mechanics where you lose all grip on your sanity as a result from being shelled relentlessly are really off the chart.

BF1 will be a casualized shitfest that appeals to the cowadoody crowd, and it's a tragedy so many people will use it as the basis of their understanding of the war.

Most of the guns they're putting in the game weren't even used in WW1 lol, just have to get over it and play it and have fun.

If you want a more realistic simulation of WW1, i'd highly suggest you try Verdun on PC. Its also being released on consoles soon.

The other day I randomly, very out of character walked into EB games and walked out with Far Cry 4 (ps3) for $20. Already loving it, hey. I rarely get to play videogames anymore, my ps3 is more of a glorified netflix box than anything, but man I'm loving sneaking in an hour or so at night to play now. Decided to go recurve bow for my weapon, and loving it so far.

Pokemon, gotta get a life...

Just download it m80. It's different from the usual game in that you use your real life area. You have pokemon gyms in real life areas.

Walked into a wall playing Pokemon Go.

All aboard the hype train toot toot. Got PokemonGo last night. So far I've got a Charmander, Bulbasaur, Bellsprout (all caught at my house), Pidgey (caught down the street when I drove home from football) and I've visited 2 landmarks plus found a gym at my local shops but need to be level 5 and am only currently level 2.

Pokemon is awesome! I'm in my 30's and I still play Pokemon and watch the show!

Saw a fully grown man walk into a bus stop pole playing it this morning.

Pity it wasn't an actual bus.

I'll never understand how people are completely unable of walking and looking at their phone at the same time. It's really not that hard.

Because people become fully engrossed in whats going on in the screen. It's why people can't text and drive. If you can't operate your own body whilst using a phone, how on earth are you meant to be able to fully control heavy machinery.
