By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

That was James Holland's preferred form of attack I guess. 2-0-1
Classic. I'll never look at Neapolitan ice cream the same way again

LAzio's pre-season has started with Simone Inzaghi taking the team for now. Ikon played the first 45 minutes in what technically could be called a game. He scored a hattrick in a 19-0 win. Non of the players who competed at the Euro's are with the team at the moment. http://www.lalaziosiamonoi.it/news/rivivi-il-live-lazio-auronzo-19-0-72161

Only last week we were discussing Maty's Spanish. Here he is doing a full 13-minute interview in Spanish (or Valencian?): https://soundcloud.com/valencia-cf/13-07-2016-entrevista-amb-matt-ryan?in=valencia-cf/sets/entrevistes#t=0:14 Very impressive after only 11 months!

Rukavytsya played the full game for Maccabi Haifa in the Europa this morning - They drew 1-1 with Nomme Kalju
Kalik was an unused sub for Hajduk - They drew 2-2 with CSMS Iasi
Mabil didn't make the squad for Midtjylland - They won 3-0 against Vaduz

I was just in Spain (Madrid + Valencia) last month for a full 2 weeks in a business environment where translators were needed almost 100% of the time when speaking to people outside of the American company I work for. And yep everyone learns English in school, but it's just like how we learn French in school. Everyone forgets what they've learned and in the real world those teachings become worthless unless practised. From what I was told, there is so much Spanish music/video content available that people in Spain don't pick up the basics like other countries do that are forced to use English entertainment. So in this case, no one in the Valencia squad has any incentive to learn English. Obviously Maty has a huge incentive to learn Spanish, hence the result. Remember how much Moyes and Neville struggled with the language barrier. It's not as simple as you're saying, buddy.

As a general rule, English tends is a much more difficult language to learn than any of the Romance languages (italian, French, Spanish, Romanian)
They tend to have consistent, simple rules, from a single source, while English is a mongrel of Anglo-Saxon, Viking, Norman-French, regarding rules of grammar, etc etc

The fact that Hajduk Split has a new manager is not good news for Anthony Kalik given the previous manager played him a fair bit last season, just as a thought this kid was someone to watch out for this season...ah well

Winner of Rosenborg Norrköping (3-1) to play winner of APOEL (CYP) New Saints (WAL) (0-0)
If Rosenborg make it to the 3rd round they will progress to play off round in UCL if they win and play off round for Europe League if they lose.

Finally managed to spot Kruse at Leverkusen training. They've got tonnes of new players through transfers and loan returns. Lots of youth players are training as well. They've got a practice game in about 6 hours so we could see him feature.
Best to keep fit while sorting a move. Hannovers best two wingers have injured themselves this week and will be out until at least October. Would love to see him join. Stuttgart are very thin in their ranks and he could be an option.
It'd be hard to break into Freiburg's team but Bremen or Frankfurt would be decent options.
