Fulham looking to loan Burgess to a higher league than League 2. http://www.gloucestershirelive.co.uk/finland-international-completes-cheltenham-town-move-but-one-loan-deal-is-dead-johnson-confirms/story-29503745-detail/story.htmlQuote: The signing of O'Shaughnessy also means it's unlikely that Cameron Burgess will be returning for a second loan stint.
The Australia Under-23 international ended last season on loan with the Robins and boss Gary Johnson was keen to take him back on loan.
But after receiving word that his parent club Fulham were looking to send him out to a club in a higher division, Johnson decided to make his move for the man capped twice by the full Finland side.

Liverpool about to walk away from Chillwell negotiations meaning Liverpool might go into the season with Moreno and Smith as left backs. With Moreno under the pump after that shocking Europa final display could be a huge opportunity for Smith.

Jordan lyden not in the squad for villa who are losing 1-0 to Telford united. Telford finished 18th last season in national league north , the second rung down in the conference.
You'd hope he gets a few opportunities this year.

Decent chance he would have been Liverpool's first choice LB for most if not all of last season had he not done his ACL in October. When fit he's definitely ahead of Smith.

Serious question, but how exactly is that "harsh"?

Real question - how is it harsh to leave out a player because he is seen as a lesser player? Or why in anyone's right mind would they include a lesser player just because they've been at a club longer? You have some serious rose tinted glasses syndrome about Aussies Abroad.

Jones started against Anderlecht. Should be #1.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.
