Reports are out accusing Turkey that it has shut down Incirlik Airbase as a bargaining chip with the Americans in order to bring about the extradition of Gulen. I doubt the Americans will do this, because he would face the death penalty for high treason. I also doubt there is a lot of evidence that Gulen is directly involved. Apparently, the Turkish Military had intelligence that Erdogan was planning raids against the military to purge its ranks of Officers and Soldiers who oppose Erdogan.
