anyone know why my backline keep getting really low ratings? my defence is fairly solid. i consistently have the lowest goals conceded in the league.
i try no to use the defensive line other than to play the ball out - my fb's push high up in attack - my midfield does all the leg work. any ideas? its affecting my player development. Have never been concerned by the ratings - I only use them to gauge how my players are doing against each other (is this central defender better than that one, where do I need to strengthen, etc.) but it impacts upon their growth. the players that grow in stats are the ones that get good player ratings On my previous game I had spent a lot of time scouting, coaching, developing a group of young future stars - AM, DM, and LB... All looked likely to push into the first team at 19(ish), having had them since 15... Then I got the sack (first summer after winning the Euro League) and all three were gone. It's one of the reasons that I'm not even bothering with developing players this time - just trading up, player by player. fair enough. im playing the long game with them. i recruit all australian and i manage the aus NT as well. we are going to win the 2022/2026 world cup. im currently in the asian qualifying for 2022. we have china, india and NZ in the group. seems legit. ill put up my NT squad soon. mooy is captain on 78/79 playing as the deep defensive mid. sainsbury and leckie are starters. i dont think anyone else is from the real world NT. All going well but had to save the game and sleep. Went back the next day - first game up, lost 3-0 at Reading, second game 1-1 with Marseilles in the final group game in Euros, conceded a soft last kick goal. Now on a run of 2 draws and 2 defeats from 4 in the league and out of Europe.
