Norway attack anniversary, looks like multiple attacks.

Situation in Munich very unclear.

Munich areas and transportation locked down.

Reports that eyewitnesses saw 3 gunmen at the Olympia shopping centre, but eyewitnesses can be unreliable in situations like these.

Video of a gunman outside of a McDonalds but again not confirmed as being genuine although it seems most likely it is.

Conflicting reports on whether there was shooting elsewhere in the city.

There seem to have been 6 deaths but that could change.

A video has just been put up on twitter showing footage of one of the gunmen exciting The Maccas with what appears to be a semi-automatic pistol, and opening fire on people running away.

Any links to these witness statements? The only one I have seen is an interview with a witness from the McDonalds that claimed the gunman was yelling Allahu Akhbar. This woman also claimed that her son was in the bathroom with the gunman and saw him loading the gun, but magically escaped harm so the interview is suspect to me.


Except for all the ones that do, of course.

Apparently he was a Turkish-German, grew up in a slum that is largely dependent on welfare, was heavily bullied for a large chunk of his life and was receiving treatment for schizophrenia.

That's presuming a lot of rationality from a person who is behaving inherently irrational.

Not to mention a schizophrenic (according to a Twitter video where the gunman is arguing with two guys from a rooftop.

I'm looking, but I can't find any proof of anything at the moment. Just a lot of conjecture and assertion.

I'd say it's too early to conclude anything at the moment.
