Don't know whether it's better or worse that the latest mass murder committed by a Muslim seems unrelated to Isis. Another Isis attack would have been terrible, but on the other hand, it shows that mass murderers shouting allah akbar aren't just confined to Isis, or to recent migrants, but can also be commuted by locally raised people who societies would hope have integrated.

I'd wait for more info before jumping to conclusions, we don't know his ethnicity, his religion, his motive or his mental state. You may end up with egg on your face just like the people who were saying he was a white right wing nationalist.

I don't bother myself with Reddit.

Any reason why? There are some really good subreddits, for me personally the Arsenal one is probably the best forum we have, some dedicated TV/Video game subs are good.

That said, I wouldn't use it as a source of breaking news or information, not much different to something like Twitter (but at least you can try to find credible journos etc on there to follow).

Pretty much the reasons described. Besides theres no point signing up, imo, to all these social media sites that tell you nothing you can't find elsewhere.

I find that I get news on Twitter/reddit before it reaches mainstream media.

2. this hand gun or less doesn't count in the USA
2a if they shoot up a party at work
2b if they shoot up there school
2c if they shoot up a gay night club where they had there gay heart broken
