Not sure if anyone is watching season 4 of Orange is the New Black, but its one of the bleakest seasons of television EVER! and I've experienced my share of bleak

The first half of the season is actually quite nice, the sense of levity subsides when [spoiler]they find the body[/spoiler]

Episode 12 is directed by Matthew Weiner, from Mad Men and the Sopranos fame.

Me and the missus started watching on Netflix. Really enjoyed season 1. We've just started season 2.

I actually didn't mind Season 4, I thought Season 3 was lower imo.

As other sites have suggested though, they really need to break away from the Batman lore a bit more.

S4 as a whole probably wasn't bad, but when you end with a finale as bade as they did it tends to paint the whole season with the same brush.

Luke Cage looks fucking boss. Great music & action. I love the idea of him using a car door to protect his hoodie from getting holes in it, and then just giving up.

Iron Fist is the Marvel/Netflix show I have always been most interested in because Danny Rand is one of my favourite characters in comics. They've managed to shrug off the nontroversy from idiots crying "Why isn't Danny Rand Asian????" and pick up a great cast (Loras & Nymeria Sand from GoT) and crew (Director who directed the last 2 episodes of GoT Season 6 is onboard for a few episodes, and Show Runner from Rome and the first part of Dexter).

The Defenders - not sure how I really feel about this. I'm starting to suspect that it's going to be a continuation of The Hand/The Chaste storylines from Daredevil (Which I thought have been the weakest parts of Daredevil so far in both seasons) because it sounds like Stick talking in the teaser.

There was an underwhelming DD teaser that confirmed Season 3, I haven't heard anything more about JJ although I think they confirmed a Season 2.

It's going to be interesting to see how they schedule the series' now that they are juggling 5 separate shows and 1 ensemble. They're not going to be releasing a season of each every year.
