He was going to NY for a sponsor thing or a clinic, i remember he had mentioned that at some point. Trying to fit in as many endorsements as possible before actually signing a contract anywhere..?

Except that Timmy has absolutely nothing to do with the South of Sydney.

If anything his signing for SFC would be a local junior coming home type of story.

I don't know why people think he has any interest in creating a team in a region which means nothing to him. He's denied in the past that he's ever even been involved in talks at any level with these guys who just name drop him to get media attention
