what do you think about having a aussies abroad sub forum?  some of the extended discussion that clogs this page can work into other threads?

certainly more valuable than an ea sports sub forum. at least people will use it.  this is probably the most valuable part of this forum for a lot of people, it's what bought me here.

we tried that once and people didn't notice where the thread was. It's pretty much always on the first page anyway.

Both Maty and Brad Smith started against eachother as Valencia visited Bournemouth, with the match finishing 1-1 and both playing full matches.

I don't know if this can be read into at all, but Maty has started all of Valencia's pre-season friendlies bar one so far.

that's not rotation. toure hasnt been fit enough to play and dembele hasnt been scoring.  celtic probably only played one striker as well because they are protecting their "lead".

Watched the Celtic game last night. They weren't great against a very average Kazakh team. Rogic would have done well to have gotten a run in the game I felt. I think Celtic would have wrapped the game up a lot earlier. They nearly derailed my multi. :hehe:

Randers and NEC play today. Ingolstadt match has been postponed. 

Mladá Boleslav uploaded their game against Shkëndija to Youtube. Mebrahtu came on in the second half, played as one of two strikers, didn't really gell well with the other striker, but did some nice things, and was involved in the build up of their goal. His team favoured creating chances through crosses and he had some opportunities from headers. Unfortunately he couldn't direct them that well and when he did get them on target he couldn't generate enough pace or power, definitely an aspect of his game he could improve upon. Overall promising signs from him.

Stefan Mauk starting for NEC in his first game, bad news they down 1-0 at HT, not much news about his performance individually.

A bit like DDS at Roda JC he's wearing the No.10 jersey, in some way a good sign for him.
