Group A looks like a giant banana peel and a half. Certainly will be entertaining. Our group should be better. I feel Japan has fallen by the wayside. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't qualify same with South Korea.

Syrian National Football team will play all of their “home” matches for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in Macau, as proposed by Macau Football Association (MFA) and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) on Friday.
According to the AFC, “Macau FA proposed to Syria FA to host all five Syrian team home matches. Syria FA accepted this offer and the AFC, following communication with FIFA, has confirmed Macau as the venue for Syrian home matches, taking into consideration logistics and security aspects,” they told the Times.
http://macaudailytimes.com.mo/world-cup-2018-syria-make-macau-home-qualifiers-china-group.html
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

KFA will provide 20,000 free kits to Korean fans in todays match, mean while, 15,000 Chinese fans had arrived Seoul from China, with another 10,000 Chinese fans living in Korea, the total number of Chinese supporters could be between 25,000 to 30,000
meawhile, the Official supporter of Team China, the "Team Dragon" had sent 4,000 members to Korea, official supporter Taeguk Worriors, the "Red Devel" will also have thousand of members showing on the stands
Probabally the largest scale of away fans in term of numbers in Asian Football history

Good to see Chinese fans getting behind their team. Shame it's on at the same time as the Australia game, will have to catch the highlights later.

Yeah thats true that it balances out across the group while we storm ahead. Even better is a victory for us and the rest draw. One team completely stuffing up means someone else is getting 3 points and that can make it very tight.

Japan 1 UAE 2, with the 2nd goal a penalty and Japan robbed of a clear goal that wasn't awarded https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QL6EfL5Ge_4- that result will definitely make things interesting early on in our group also South Korea 3, China 2 it appears some matches are being streamed over YOUTUBE at - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnj0TjaM0wyxkAWW_nz8_1g

All matches streamed on AFChub youtube. It's available in Germany. Anyone know how rights work with youtube streams? Last time around they were blocked in Germany. China Korea had a great atmosphere. Japan actually scored a second and it was wrongly disallowed. Criminal.

Iran 2:0 over Qatar. Both goals in stoppage time.
First was a terrible kick from the Qatar keeper. Iran ran 20m to the goal as a Qatari seemed to knock the ball in the path of another Iranian who slotted home.
Pitch invasion as Qatar claim a hand was used and offside. Goal perfectly legal. Took about 5min to restart. Qatar had been wasting time with fake injuries but once Iran scored they became as hard as nails.
Saudi Thailand 0:0 at half time.

Saudi penalty on 83. 1:0. Silly foul. They've been really bad otherwise. Thailand are really quick.
Are the game streams working in Australia? I take it Roos games are blocked?

Red card for Thailand after the final whistle. By the looks of it UAE are a tad better than Iraq and Saudi are the weakest of the 3 Middle East teams.
